Fellow Whoopers, we have an announcement.

We've been secretly for the last couple of months developing an official co-op mode for Sir Whoopas; Co-Whoop! The update is completely free and enables you to play the campaign together with up to three friends. And oh yes, friendly fire is of course enabled by default!

Just enable co-op from the main menu and invite friends in the Steam Overlay, or tell them to Join your game, it's that simple. Any friend can join at any time and progress together with you in your current save game! The inventory is shared between players (don't spend all gold on Gnomes!) but you may equip any weapon, skin or apparel as you like.

Here's a complete list of new features that is added in this major update:

• Online and LAN co-op with up to 4 people
  
• Play the main story with (or most likely; against) your friends and solve puzzles together
  
• New multiplayer weapon "Arcane Death Ray" only available in co-op
  
• New secret areas to find across the game
  
• New Sharp-Shooter Chicken enemy that spawns when you kill too many chickens (PTSD for all of you that played Ocarina of Time)
  
• Tweaked boss fights to be bypassable with a bit of creativity (for you speedrunners out there)
  
• Technical: Performance optimizations in the overworld
  
• Technical: Improved some VFX such as whoopass attack, dodge fx and various others
  
• Technical: New game config file (game.cfg) for you creative ones that want to tweak in-game values such as damage scale, number of enemies that spawns, player max level etc. (located in the savedata folder)
  
• Technical: Bug fixes and various improvements

Together with this update we are also launching our very first DLC; Threads of Mass Whoopery - an awesome skin pack that really will enhance your time together online (who wouldn't like to play as Shkek, Donutello or The Immortal?).
