Would love to play this in splitscreen like we did back when arcade racers were still a popular genre

I'm using a Fanatec Club Sport Wheel base (V2) with Club Sport Pedals (V3) connected directly to the wheel. Issues: As soon as the main menu pops up, the menu highlight moves straight down to the bottom. I have to then press the accelerator pedal to move the highlight back up, and then feather the throttle to keep it over "options". If I set pedals to "combined" in the Fanatec control panel, then this auto scrolling doesn't happen, but then I have no control over the menu using the wheel controller. Wh...
