This is a slog. I don't even know how or what I'm supposed to be doing most of the time and I'm still on the first major mission. The maps are too vague or obnoxious, and frankly is anyone else feeling like this is a borderlands ripoff?

Shepard, Garrus and the Normandy crew deserve a better legacy than this cash grab to come in after them.

Not recommended unless you want a version of Mass Effect which betrays many of the series' core themes with its story, lacks the same level of replay value the original trilogy had, the gameplay isn't as tight and many features, weapons and powers were removed to make room for jumping as the only new thing added and a crew who mostly feel like previous characters from the original trilogy but not as deep or memorable. Gameplay is also a lot more tedious with open empty environments and there are fewer planets to explore than ever before.

Enjoyed playing it the first time when I could still use Origin, but now having difficulty launching it due to the EA app being a horrible piece of garbage. Wouldn't recommend while EA app is required (not likely to change).

Its a decent enough game. The repetition people complain about is more about planet hopping because the side quests lack any real depth in the story. But the combat is great and there is plenty of it. The game could have been longer as some mysteries are started but never pursued. Its still mass effect, and has a better ending than mass effect 3. The faces are seriously off putting to start but you tune it out after a while. decent gameplay with serious flaws, but still worth playing if you like mass effect like i do.

Apart from the character faces, Mass Effect: Andromeda offers stunning visuals. The storyline has its moments of humor and intrigue but fails to emotionally engage the player. Despite its ambitious scope, the game lacks depth. It feels overwhelming, repetitive, and bogged down by unnecessary mechanics, which results in gameplay that feels more like a chore, leaving players with a detached and underwhelming experience.

It's certainly different from the other Mass Effect games, but I think it works in it's favor. I'd say it's definetly worth giving it a few hours of playtime, since the first couple felt a bit jarring in my opinion. Go through the first couple of objectives, do a little exploring and you might like it! It's more open world which doesn't give you quite so linear objectives which can be nice but might feel a bit out of place if you're used to the way 1 through 3 play. The lack of true endemic fauna is a bit dissapointing but that'd have to be my only real complaint as it stands now.

Although not as good as Mass Effect Legacy, this is still a great game with a solid story, great exploration, and a much improved combat system. It can become a bit of a drag inbetween main missions like all the busy work you do on the Nexus, but overall a really solid gaming experience which i have finished three times so far.

i agree this game is not like original mass effect(1-2-3) but i really enjoying. everything is really good i give 8 to this game i think this game worth more this
