I bought this on sale and it's incredibly immersive and early grinding makes you care more about your band, it has many layers of customisation. From upgrading the skills of band members, to decorating your house to networking with other bands, it's extremely nostalgic and memorable. Blown away by some of the surprising choices of the world, including getting managers, record deals and slowly working your way up in the music business.

Very unusual level of depth and re-playability is rather high for me. A simulation gamer's utopia as far as personal development in a band goes. A very surprising and positive experience. Just don't bang up your truck whatever you do, it's pretty costly to get it repaired!

Rarely have I cared more about my own players and the team I am building. Some of the grindy aspects of the game make you want to quit, but don't, you won't be sorry for pushing through. It's addictive but not mindless, and from playing in the park to at a gig it should get dull but it doesn't!

I don't know how to describe this game. It's a business simulator where you can save up to build in-game houses as your brand gets more famous in the world! Money actually matters, it's not just about the music or the town you grew up. You can design your T-shirts, your band covers, with added layers of song-writing mini-game complexity. Each area and time period has different "attitudes" that means the game is far more complex than it seems at first.

10/10 for anyone who enjoys open-world simulation.
