i saw some other playthroughs showing a slightly different game, like a much higher resolution (unlike how grainy the steam version is), lots of different colorings, and the opening sequence is a little different as well. Is the game on itch.io a newer version?...

And then turning off SteamVR also ends the game. Why are they connected when this isn't a VR game?

I had to quit because I couldn't figure out how to progress and I was starting to get frustrated, it sucks that I'll have to start over again next time I want to give it a try

Just bought and started this game but after ~22 minutes when I had to take the gun the screen stayed black for the entire bit until the robot "reloaded" and it seemed on purpose, but then he rambled on about a plank and pirate ship and so on and the screen once again stayed black, the world didn't load and I couldn't do a thing but exit the whole thing....

is there any way to change the resolution?
