This game has potential but it’s laggy af. Reminds me of the House Flipper series. I do with there was more hotel management aspect to it. It often feels like you’re just decorating to the customers’ whims, which seems odd. I don’t think that’s how a real hotel would work. But I like the first person nature of the game. Could lose the chicken though. That was just weird.

The game has a lot of stong points. Mainly that the rooms do look great. So if you just want to design a nice looking room, great, the game will let you do that, but there are a lot of weaknesses aswell.
1. There are a few bugs. Nothing game breaking but still noticeable.
2. The NPCs don't really do anything. They just walk and sometimes sit. Which is a bit of a shame, when you renovate the dining room and the pool but nobody can eat or swim.
3. The managing-tasks are a bit simplistic and usually just involve running to a room and pressing a button.
4. Designing the rooms is fun at first but after renovating like 10 rooms it gets repetitive fast, atleast for me. Depends on the person a guess.

The game technically has both a story and a sandbox mode, but the storymode feels like a sandboxmode. Which is fine, i mean designing rooms should be the main task, but i hoped the game would offer some other stuff to do, so that you don't just go from room to room. Like managing staff or choosing the right room for the right guest.

Also managing money is not really of any importance, you cant control the hotel-expenses or choose the price of the rooms. I am not saying that this needs to be a managing game but i feel like giving the player more control about how the hotel runs is more interesting than a minigame where you run to the basement and klick a button.

Overall the game is fine. It certainly looks great, but the gameplay is underwhelming.

I’m loving this game! I played house flipper & I think this game is better! After you get the roof garden done, you get better tools that make the work a breeze. The biggest difference I love are the presence of NPC’s. It got kinda lonely on house flipper, so seeing them walk about makes gameplay better. So many options - it usually takes me 5 minutes to pick an option lol. I wish we had the ability to check people in and out of the hotel at the front desk (pick room, hand keys, place keys back on shelf, but that’s the only thing I would change.
