　Actually, no, I lied—this has nothing to do with NFS. It's more like Rally 3D from the old Java games, which you probably don't know if you grew up spoiled. I started with a Gameboy, moved to Java mobile games, then PlayStation consoles, and finally PC. For an easy comparison, think of Dirt Rally since you grew up with PC you brat.

　Inertial Drift is an arcade racing game, I'm not sure, Should I called it as racing game? but okay, it's car like all of us wanted to be a racer but now we became a racist. The gameplay focuses on timing—the faster you are, the better you perform. God, I hope that's a standard term in relationship activities. This game introduces a unique drifting mechanic where you use the analog stick to control the tires. It's a fresh take on drifting, much better than in NFS games. Overall, it's a unique and enjoyable experience!

　To be honest, it was good. Well, I can't say it was an original idea—it's just a synthwave art style—but yeah, I've seen other racing games use such a concept. Still, this game was fine.

　The main problem is that the game doesn't have a minimap. If you want to play on a track with friends or CPU, you can only rely on memory if you've already played or practice on those maps. There's no clear indicator throught visual in some map when there's a sharp turn or curve ahead, so suddenly you crash. Though I don't think it's a big demand, an on-and-off setting could help.

Overall, it was gorgeous. I mean, yeah, my Steam profile has the same theme, so...

　Unfortunately, the game is already dead. I can't find a single match, but I do appreciate that it has an arcade mode where you can put your score on the cloud and compare it with your Steam friends list. To be honest, I'm surprised none of my friends have this game, even though they're more game collectors and richer than me.

　The reason why I'm interested in this game is because of the gameplay controls, which I'm also surprised worked fine with my cheap Chinese knockoff controller. In my country, imagine buying a $60 high-quality controller and getting taxed because it was an overseas or foreign product. Then, an institution called "bea cukai" asks you for $200 in taxes just because they can. It's literally forcing people to buy a local product that's technically just a Chinese knockoff with a local brand name slapped on it. Honestly, I had no problem with the game. good and f- for that institution

　Technically, you can finish the game in about 2 hours. There are around 4 different character campaigns, and yeah, since the game is more like arcade racing, it could take you more than like 24h completion, that if you have fun with it.

　Yeah, the story sucks. It's pretty much a childish story. I mean, come on, this is about cars. People who have cars are often violent psychopath bunch of meat who drive a big 4K pound of steels ready to take some old guy on the road. The story is literally full of positivity, which is not realistic for this game and its theme. It's weird that you just meet a random dude and boom, you win against him, and you know what they say? "I should practice more." What are you, 5 years old? Literally having a name for your car and being defeated by some random rookies on the road. Yeah, if you're looking for a story, it's not really recommended, but still, at least they got it and it has its full script, so yeah.

　 The game is fine. surely, I had fun with it. However, it's like that game you beat, and then perhaps someday you want to play a better and easier game than Dirt Rally. Yeah, this is definitely the game I would come back to instead of Dirt Rally.
