The overall quality is mediocre, though some flaws profoundly destroy my experience.

Random encounter pace: Sometimes, I feel there are random encounters every few steps, and every minor battle can be lengthy enough. Occasionally, there can be encounters happening every 3 steps—what the hell? Okay, I can turn off it, thanks PR. But I won't get enough exp then.

Monsters are ridiculously overpowered. By overpowered, I don't mean being difficult is bad. However, would you think it's an interesting game when a monster can one-shot one of your allies? -> Then you have to pray that your main combat unit isn't the one getting one-shot; -> otherwise, you'll be busy rescuing him/her. -> All too often, more allies die during the rescue, forcing you to load the save. What an "interesting" hard battle?

It sticks close to the original, only adding aesthetic elements (graphics and music). Nearly perfect.
