• It has been made easier for the number of times a character evades (evade rate) to increase .
  
• The chances of some enemies escaping has been reduced.
  
• A visual effect was added where the screen flashes if an allied character’s attack scores a critical hit.
  
• The time taken when transitioning between screens after escaping from battle has been reduced.
  
• The command “Swap” is now no longer selected when using auto-battle.

• Alterations have been made so that weapons and armour are sorted into attack (or defence) power order within their type category when using the auto-sort function on the menu screen.
  
• Changes have been made so that the mini map is immediately displayed in the top right of the screen after moving to a new map.
  
• The default cursor position when selecting to stay at an inn has been changed to the “yes” option.
  
• The graphics for destroyed towns on the world map have been altered to make them look more natural.

The following bugs have been fixed.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that these issues may have caused.

• Sometimes it was not possible to correctly evade an enemy follow-up attack.
  
• Sometimes the special effect from “Aura” that enhances attacks against specific enemy types would not be correctly applied, resulting in the damage inflicted being too low.
  
• The effects of “Aura” and “Wall” would not degrade when used on all targets. This has been fixed so that the effect is now one magic level lower when casting on all targets than it would be if cast on a single target.
  
• Sometimes a character with a weapon equipped in each hand would make their second attack against a different enemy if the first attack reduced the target to 0 HP. This has been fixed so the second attack will always target the same enemy.

• Sometimes some event scenes would not display properly under specific circumstances.
  
• Some graphics were not displayed in a suitable manner.
  
• Under specific circumstances character behaviour and graphical presentation would act unnaturally.
  
• Some BGM and SFX were not played correctly.

Fixes to other minor bugs.

The main content of this update is outlined below.

• Stability when playing over long periods has been improved. This will continue to be improved further in future.
  
  
• The text for the following languages has been adjusted to improve readability. These improvements have also been implemented for FF4 and all subsequent titles:
  English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese
  
  
• Adjustments have been made to areas on the menu where it was difficult to move the cursor.
  
  
• The following bugs have been fixed:
  - Issue where the destination travelled to is incorrect when using teleport in a separate area after leaving a specific dungeon (There is a chance that this issue will still occur once after the update when using pre-existing save data).
  - Issue where some parts of the Items menu would disappear temporarily under certain conditions.
  - It was sometimes impossible to unlock the achievement "Master of II" when continuing to play, using the cloud save function.

Further updates are planned.

The main updates are as below.

*If the game was played after selecting “Fullscreen” or “Borderless Windowed” in the display settings and the game is closed, it will start with the same settings.

*The window size on initial start-up will now match resolutions for various monitors.

*Made improvements to alleviate screen tearing that can occur with some PC environments. This update focused on windowed mode, and will continue to be worked on.

*Fixed the following issues.
・Under certain circumstances, the graphics may become corrupted when restarting the game after returning to the title screen.
・If the OS region setting is set to certain regions, some graphics may not display correctly.
・After defeating the enemies in the front row, the enemies in the back row may not be treated as front row.
・”Cure” and “Life” do not function correctly while “Blood Sword” is equipped.
・Using certain spells repeatedly during battle may slow down processing.
・Escaping to the world map from certain towns under certain circumstances using Teleport or Warp may cause a blocker bug.
・Fixed some text.

Further updates are planned, including overall stability and speed improvements.
