A new update is available now to improve your journey in Eudros!

This update focuses on filling and improving the kingdom of Elderheim, expanding some areas with new caves, dungeons, points of interest, puzzles, vendors, and much more! Plus, you'll find some quality-of-life improvements, optimizations, and various adjustments.

• The player’s location and rotation are now saved
  ○ Nearby harvestable objects are saved
  ○ Enemy locations are not saved
  ○ Returning to the overworld resets the player’s save location
  
• Added brightness slider
  
• Added 17 new food recipes
  
• Added ~15 new armor pieces (Masks and variants of them as well as a new iron heavy armor set! Masks can be found at the Pillars of Misrafal and the new iron armor can be found at the Elderglen or Khenmoore blacksmiths!)

• Added “Running” to the “IncreaseSkill” console command

• Changed overworld event display (Now shows event name, collapses when zoomed out, reducing screen clutter. Hovering over the event while zoomed out expands the details)

  ○ No more jittery camera when activating the skill

• Lumistrike Crystals no longer show damage numbers
  
• Reduced overworld HUD size

• Greatly reduced the duration of the “Sunburn” debuff
  
• Swapping to an enchanted item now shows the enchanted item’s name
  
• The text popup warning players about the Askillian sun should now only appear if they are not wearing protective gear
  
• Ents can no longer be ragdolled
  
• Opening the achievement window now fades HUD, preventing UI overlaps

• CROSSBOWS will no longer have their own skill tree – instead, they will share most skills with bows! Skills on the “Bows & Crossbows” skill tree will indicate if they can also be used with crossbows.
  
• For those affected by the broom mana regen bug (if your mana no longer naturally regenerates), you can type “Restore mana regen” in the console to fix this issue. The broom should no longer cause this issue as well.

The hot wind from Askil is reaching the lands of Eudros as well, but the work cannot stop. There, it is full of ears that listen to you and take notes, planning... 👀

Welcome to our new appointment with the State of Eudros, our summary with the latest news from the world of The Bloodline and glimpses of what's cooking! 🥘


It's been a while since our last State of Eudros, but updates have certainly not been lacking. In the past 3 months, we have released 3 updates and 3 hotfixes, which have fixed multiple bugs, added features such as keybinding and the new village decorating system, and introduced a lot of new content, including an entirely new kingdom: Askil!

During these months, we have read all your feedback and suggestions, taken notes, and helped Miles compile a list based on your requests to assist him in planning the work for the upcoming updates, one of which - as you can imagine - is just around the corner.


The focus of the next update will be fixing the bugs you reported and to start doing what you have been loudly requesting: fill and improve the kingdom of Elderheim.

For this reason, you will find Parford Lake has been expanded and filled in! For the Kingdom of Askil, the Flowing Sands and the Pillars of Misrafal have also been filled in with the addition of new caves, dungeons, points of interest, puzzles, vendors, and much more.

These areas have been revisited to be populated with loot, rewards, enemy spawns, and much more, such as village decorations contained in "decor books" hidden throughout the world, hidden skill points, weapons, and armor. The goal going forward is to do the same with nearly ALL Kingdom 1 locations, bringing the new systems, improvements, puzzles and other features introduced (or refined) in Kingdom 2 to the original kingdom of Elderheim.

Additionally, Miles has worked on some quality-of-life improvements, such as adding a brightness (gamma) slider, saving the player's location, and adding new "Cook Books" to reveal recipes!


To best help Miles plan the next steps leading up to the future release of version 1.0, we have created a survey[fs16.formsite.com] with some questions that will help us rank your requests, as well as gather additional valuable feedback and opinions.

The survey will take no more than a few minutes to complete, and you will have the opportunity to let us know which areas you would like us to focus on more, as well as to express your level of satisfaction with the current game features.

There is no need to emphasize again how essential your contribution is during this Early Access phase to chart the path for future updates, so we hope many of you will participate ❤️

• Added Askillian Sun – A mechanic present in the new desert locations!

  - Music doors! Play the lute to open these doors
  - Weight Triggers! Place physics objects on the weight plate until it is fully pressed

  - Blocked/Locked doors. Blocked doors can only be opened from one side, creating more interesting locations that can only be accessed in certain ways. Doors also work as lockpicking doors.

A new update is available now to improve and expand your journey in the lands of Eudros!

Test the new keybinding options, complete the Easter-themed questline to obtain a new mount & companion, explore the revamped calendar system, and enjoy various fixes and adjustments! 🐰

• The Verglas Elk now has a proper description and details on the mount selection screen
  
• Fixed issue with Vampire skill tree not unlocking vampire skills
  
• FIxed issue where companions would sometimes aim their attacks at you when there isn't an enemy nearby to target
  
• Fixed random player spawns at grassy plain areas

• WOODCUTTING AND MINING REBALANCE:
  
  ○ Goal: Grant Woodcutting and Mining levels more frequently and allow the player to gather more resources faster, while also incentivising players to harvest resources that are at their Woodcutting or Mining level.
  ○ Woodcuttting/Mining Level Progression changes: Shifted all resource level requirements to be higher than before - but also dramatically increased the EXP you gain from harvesting them. The amount of Woodcutting/Mining EXP the resources grant you should be paced much better than before, with higher level resource granting much more EXP!
  ○ Resources: You have a base bonus loot chance of 15%. The higher your level relative to the harvestables level increases the bonus chance! For example - if you're level 30 Woodcutting and you chop down a level 1 tree (Pine trees), you have nearly 50% chance to earn bonus loot with each hit! You also now gain between 1-3 extra resources for bonus loot hits. This should help lessen the grind for basic materials, especially if you're a high level in the repective harvesting skill.
  
  
• CALENDAR SYSTEM REWORK:
  
  ○ All dates will now have some form of event happening somewhere in the world.
  ○ Changed the way events are selected, allowing for specific areas to recieve unique events (will be usefull when new kingdoms are added!)
  ○ Added descriptions to all calendar events
  
  
• Reduced volume of victory fanfare after defeating overworld enemy groups

• FULL KEYBOARD/MOUSE KEYBINDING SUPPORT! (As stated in our last State of Eudros, you'll be able to test control mapping to your liking and, above all... give us feedback. This feature has been tested internally but may not yet be in its final form, which is why your reports will help Milo refine it and promptly address any issues that may arise.)

The fresh spring air is about to arrive in the lands of Eudros, and while you're hunting or taking a nap in a flowery meadow, there's someone who - hidden in some hole in the ground - judges your deeds... 🐰

You'll soon know what I'm talking about, but first of all, welcome to our usual appointment with the State of Eudros, our monthly summary with the latest news from the world of The Bloodline and glimpses of what's cooking! 🥘


As you know, our Milo is tireless, and even in the last month, we released a significant update that added new content, including weapons and events on the calendar, optimizations, and improvements, followed by an inevitable hotfix to promptly respond to your feedback. You're incredible bug hunters, we must admit it!

Speaking of hunting, a mysterious creature in the verdant lands of Eudros demands a favor that you can’t refuse (literally!)


As you may have guessed, a new update is already on its way, and this time it will address one of your most urgent requests: full keybinding for keyboard/mouse is coming! With the next update, you'll be able to test control mapping to your liking and, above all... give us feedback. This feature has been tested internally but may not yet be in its final form, which is why your reports will help Milo refine it and promptly address any issues that may arise.

Along with this, get ready for an Egg Hunt that couldn't possibly be missing from our first Easter event. The Aegis Eggs are scattered all around the Khenmoore Flatlands, and a deadly creature by the name of the Grimclaw Burrower demands that you donate at least one egg if you enter its burrow! If you don't, you'll pay the price. 💀

If you meet the demands, you can acquire the adorable and swift Meadowstrider Mount - capable of jumping really high - and The Grimclaw itself as a companion, a combat-focused companion that leaps at enemies and can dish out some big damage!


To celebrate our first Valentine's Day together, we asked the community to find the perfect location for a romantic date in the lands of Eudros, where to pop the most important question: "Will you slay goblins with me forever?" 💘 The prize? An extra key of The Bloodline to gift to your sweetheart.

All the proposals were top-notch, but you can admire the winning works chosen by the community and Milo below:

Another one of our Community Design Challenges has come to an end, and in this round, we asked players to propose some... Odd Jobs! These are quick and fun assignments that don’t quite fit into specific guilds but would be posted on the city assignment boards instead.

Here are some of the proposals that we particularly liked:

• Tavern Bouncer by KingYaga
  The bandits are drunk, causing problems and don't wanna leave....make them.
  
• Local Witch Calls in Sick by Spanks Masterson
  The local witch's coven is gathering for their seasonal potluck but Esmerelda would much prefer to go on a picnic with her boyfriend instead. She can't call in sick AGAIN so she begs you to help. Since the coven needs 13 witches to make a quorum (and she's the 13th) you'll need to put on her creepy hooded cloak and attend in her place. Since the cloak is rather voluminous, they'll never know it isn't her. All you have to do is take a place in the circle for the opening ceremony and then you can leave. Easy money.
  
  Issue: After the player takes a place in the circle they discover that the witches are summoning an incubus for Becky's bachelorette party. Surprise! Sadly, the player doesn't do their part to help (they have no clue what to do) and as such the witches summon a significantly less friendly demon. The coven decides that the bachelorette party is over and teleports away, leaving the player to deal with the monster.
  
• Drinking Competition by Eakagus
  Drinking contest, pass out from drink & wake up in a cave or something still drunk. Classic.

Of course, the purpose of these challenges is to unleash your imagination: we can't guarantee that these ideas will be added to The Bloodline exactly as they were imagined, but they will certainly be a great source of inspiration for future content!

• Destroying the Paladin's Tower after constructing it now properly destroys all of the compenents
  
• Reduced damage from coughing with Shaky Throat disease
  
• Changed quest accept/completed UI
