why would you pay for a single player game?

I bought the game 2 days ago and i tried playing it but it keeps on crashing at the same point (right after the mission 1 briefing when it tells you to press any key) Nothing is on in the background apart from steam and all my drivers are up to date. Can someone help because I cant get in contact with the devs or support team....

Im interested in playing this but everyone saying it crashes, has countless bugs etc. put me off.

I just wanna say thank you for the great game youve made. I hope its not dead and the dev will still work on that game.
