I bought the collection on the store page with a handful of SH titles. Not sure if order matters, or if I should just go down the list.

Any other ideas? I've, extracted various suggested dlls from legacy .msi files and recent ones from programs(86) folder, and put them in the game folder, to no avail. Nothing. Any other leads?

When game is not starting, it means it is missing PhysXLoader.dll. Steam will not tell you this. It simply will do nothing. The solution is very simple - find the file I mentioned on your system drive (drive/partition with your Windows installation), and copy it to game folder - to the same folder with game executable. Go into your steam folder where the game is installed. Should be somewhere like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sherlock Holmes Nemesis". In there is a folder called Support, in where there are two folders "DirectX" and "PhysX". In the DirectX folder run DXSETUP.exe, then in the PhysX folder run the msi file that's there. After both have been installed, the game should load and New Game should work fine without hanging. If not, it might require a computer restart first. Why these aren't ins...
