As the lady alchemist, I had full council support (all act III completed), all missions were complete, war won, everything built each and every time I had the opportunity to do so, and I had near unlimited resources. And yet, I was labeled a recluse who was unable to make friends and lost the war....

Tried to launch the game and got an error: "Game failed to launch (missing executable)". Reinstalled, verified files, tried recommendations from Steam Support documentation; no difference. Then I browsed the local files...only to find there were no local files. The installer made a common folder for the game, but didn't put anything in it. How can I fix this? Because I'm a fast reader and my fingers get sore from constant mouse-clicking, I play a lot of games like this with keyboard advancement. However, this game seems a little unreliable that way. Sometimes pressing space while text is being put onto the screen will cause it to finish the whole message at once. Sometimes it will jump to the next line without ever finishing the first one. And sometimes it will jump past the current bit of conversation and, apparently, AUTOMATICALLY END MY DAY without warning....

I can get to the character selection screen but I can't move forward from this point. It looks like my monitor resolution is partially supported, ultra wide (3440*1440p)
