Hello I just bought the game because I loved the prologue/demo when I played it a couple of years ago (and because I 'm an old gamer who enjoys playing weird japanese games like Chulip, etc...!) but... what, no 4K or other resolutions support in 2024? So past the point of no return the game quotes a work of Wagner's mentioning that "modern" is a proper German verb that means "to rot." I've now spent the past hour trying to find anything that points to this quote or definition and haven't been able to find it. Really enjoyed the game! Particularly the creativity in using different modes of visual presentation. For a lot of the story, I figured the message was more or less "Do your thing, be yourself, don't let society mold you into what it wants you to be." And I think there's a lot of that in there. But especially towards the end where it starts getting "Lynchian", I felt there was some themes I wasn't quite picking up on.
