Crashes as soon as you start the game, sure there's a way to fix it but if your game can't run without looking up guides on youtube, you messed up. BROKEN.

Original Mafia came out over 20 years ago and has become a classic since. It is obvious that a remake can’t accomplish what the original did, simply because it’s already done. Yet Definitive edition brings enough new to interested old gamers and is very solid for new ones. I would say that Hangar 13 improved the original story and especially characters, giving them more depth. Some moments just make more sense in the remake. The presentation of the game and setting is also amazing – graphics are great, a rainy night lit by neon signs is just breathtaking, and notes and radio broadcasts add a lot to the setting. Yet I’m a bit mixed on gameplay. While driving on simulation feels fine, I didn’t find it as smooth as Mafia 2, and addition of motorcycles was pretty useless. Combat encounters were, in my opinion, improved and made more cinematic, but shooting itself was a miss. Literally, it feels like Tommy can’t hold a steady aim. At first, I thought it was cool, because unlike other Mafia protagonists he didn’t have any military training, but as the game progressed and he got a reputation of best shooter in the family, it just felt weird that he is having such a hard time simply aiming.
To me this is definitely a game worth playing – either to relive an enhanced story or to just play a good old-school mission-based game.
