Wrath checks a lot of boxes for me. Quake-ish. Dark fantasy. Fast action. But then it's got a terrible save system, the levels are enormous and poorly paced, and a lot of the enemies are just not much fun to shoot. I looked around at other reviews and it seems I'm in for a long slog. I'm already bored.

WRATH has the syndrome of most Boomer Shooters: It starts really good, but overstays its welcome and the later missions become... dragging. I`m not saying WRATH is not a good game. It's just too lengthy and repetitive and it goes downhill once you reach the third chapter. I give it a 6 out of 10.

It's hard to say "Yes" but can't say "No" if you ask me to recommend.
Everything I hate about this game is a genuine decision:
- The size of the maps. It makes it cool to think about them like several levels connected and in some cases it is because of the great variation of environments within the same map. Bad thing it gets quite hard to keep track of everything that happens in a level and the rhythm of the game suffers because of the lack of needed pauses.
- The game is difficult. In the early stages its really fun, because of the, relatively, weak enemies. As levels go on the enemies start getting really tanky, even on normal skill, which makes the game a slog to play. Couple this with the previous complain and a very bastard enemy placement and the game makes you sweat bullets for every cm you advance. Slog x2.

It's a pitty, because there are aspects in which this game is outstanding like:
- Every weapon feels good to use
- The graphics are amazing
- The level design, both, from a visual and a gameplay perspective are the best I've been in a very long time
- Movement feels just right!

Easy buy, just wish for a sequel that addresses the issues!
