Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)
It's time to clean up the comments section and organize things a little. I see a lot of people asking the same questions, so I decided to dump instructions on how to resolve commonly encountered issues.

General

Q: What does this mod do?

A: It's a powerful bundle of features that are on the cheaty side.

Q: What is this mod for?

A: Anything! Be it creating scenes for a Zomboid machinima, testing mods, inventing interesting playstyles, or just messing around, you can do quite a lot with it.

Q: How safe is this mod for use?

A: Very safe. All of the cheats are toggleable, and do not leave any traces.

Q: I am on Build X, but the mod says that it's for Build Y! Will it work?

A: Most likely, yes. This mod is modular, meaning that I can easily add one thing without it breaking another. If the game overhauls fire and Firebrush no longer works, only Firebrush will break. The rest of the mod will be fine.

Q: Why are the updates so far apart? Did you abandon this mod?

A: Nope. This mod doesn't require much maintenance, and is basically just a project that I work on when I'm bored.

Q: Are suggestions welcome?

A: Yes! Any and all feedback is welcome, even if I'm unable to implement suggestions.

Q: Can I use this to exploit and grief multiplayer servers?

A: No. Go away.

Installation

Q: How do I install?

A: Close Project Zomboid if it is running, click subscribe, and run Project Zomboid again. Steam will automatically download and install the mod for you.

Q: Cheat Menu does not appear in-game!

A: Make sure it is enabled in the main menu. On the main menu, go to Mods and see if Cheat Menu has a checkmark beside it.
If there is no checkmark, it means the mod is disabled. Simply double click it to enable it.
Additionally, make sure that Debug Mode isn't enabled. For as of yet unknown reasons, Cheat Menu doesn't work when it's enabled.

Q: There's no Cheat Menu in the Mods menu!

A: Try restarting Steam. If that does not work, try restarting your computer. This is an issue that the devs and even Valve itself is unable to figure out.
If you have used the -nosteam property tag (it is off by default), make sure to remove it as it disables Steam integration and, consequently, Steam Workshop.

Q: I am unable to download it through Steam Workshop.

A: Manual download links are available from this thread[theindiestone.com] on The Indie Stone's forum.
Installation instructions are on the page.

General Issues

Q: Delete Mode is not working for me!

A: You have to click the square that the object is on. Project Zomboid is isometric and grid-based, and each square in the grid can have objects on it. For example when you point at a window, the game isn't seeing the window, it's seeing the square that your mouse is on top of.

Q: Barricade Mode is not working for me!

A: See above.

Q: I have a red box, what does it mean?

A: It's an error counter. If it pops up, it means that an error occured in one of your enabled mods - or even Project Zomboid itself.
To troubleshoot it, I'd recommend looking at the console.txt somewhere in YourComputerUserNameHere/Zomboid.
If you see any stack traces, look for a mod name and report it to the mod's author.
If you see Cheat Menu in there, I'd recommend you report it in the Bug Report thread.

Q: The mod is not loading!

A: Most of the issues related to Cheat Menu not loading/appearing are either caused by mod conflicts, file path issues, or bugs in an Cheat Menu update that I've missed. When reporting these issues, please post the relevant contents of your console.txt, or upload it to pastebin.com and post the link here. This is vital for troubleshooting and I won't be able to know what the error is without it.
Additionally, make sure that your SteamApps folder is named correctly. For unknown reasons Steam may rename "steamapps" to "SteamApps", which breaks case-sensitive filepaths. Renaming your "SteamApps" folder to "steamapps" will fix this.

@Nathwat11. Well, Do you have any other mods on and if so which ones? And is the console giving errors?
Flaming 28 Mar, 2016 @ 9:53am
@NathWat11 Let me know if it keeps doing it and are you running 64 bit? I noticed this mod gets buggy if the 32 bit is ran on a 64 bit system. i'll try out the mods to see if its those mods if not i'll let Ethan know.

P.S im not the Creator of the mod, Im only friends with him! xD Still i can help you out

Are you saying you can't craft anything, or you can't build anything?

Creative Mode only supports building, not crafting. I am currently waiting on the official Indie Stone Creative Mode to be released to fully flesh out this mod, but until then not really much can be done.

You say that it is not enabled for non-sever admins but if I am a server admin and would like to use this is there an explanation on this page for that?

If you want to use it, install it on your server.

The game won't allow non-admins to open the menu. If you ARE an admin, it'll pass the check and allow you to use it.

Oh sorry, I thought that this mod allowed free crafting.
No need to apologize! Free crafting was planned, but development on this mod is on hold until the official Creative Mode comes out.

Anyone know why deleting trees or other items/debris only temporarily removes said items/debris/trees? After a few minutes or probably whenever I load a chunk the stuff all comes back.

This doesn't work for multiplayer, right?
If it does, is there a anticheat plugin to keep the servers clean from this ?

Wouldn't want the multiplayer ruined :(

@[DK]TheDvd3000, This works for multiplayer, however since co-op arrived co-op does not seem to work, well with this mod, been doing test''s with ethan on my co-op server.

There is a protection system which means that only admins of the server can use it.

So that way multiplayer can not be ruined.

It already has a built in anti-cheat, and it will not work for non-admins regardless. It won't even show up unless if the server has it installed.

I've tried everything I can think of. Even manually installed. Can not get it to work on private hosted server. Activated in game and server.

Does your character have the red "Admin" title next to his name? You might have to manually register as an admin for the menu to activate.
