Step 1
Open the console using the ~ (Tilde) key.
(Might be different on your keyboard, For me the "ö" key worked)
Step 2
Paste the following command: additem( 'Dye Black' ,4)
Step 3
Replace Black with any color of your choice and change the number to however many you want
Available colors and Armor
Available colors are:
  • Black
  • Blue
  • Turquoise
  • Brown
  • Green
  • White
  • Orange
  • Yellow
  • Pink
  • Gray
  • Red
  • Purple
Dyes are used to color witcher gear and cannot be used on regular armor. These are:
  • Starting Witcher gear
  • Serpentine Witcher Gear
  • Griffin Witcher Gear
  • Feline Witcher Gear
  • Ursine Witcher Gear
  • Wolven Witcher Gear
  • Viper Witcher Gear
  • Manticore Witcher Gear

I listed all the armor's so a good place to start would be to Google the following:
"How to get (Insert whatever armor you want here)" .

I had to follow this.
Maybe the console has been added globaly in a newer update

What? I didn't have to do that. I simply pressed the key and it worked. And I have no mods on either.
