Hi everyone!
here we are with another unit mod. As already said i'm not lore expert, i just want to contribute to the community hope you like it and if you do, consider a thumbs up :)


WHAT THE MOD DOES
- It adds for all the vampire factions (Vampire counts, Von Carstein, Mousillon) a unit of blood knights with greatsword.
- New custom shield, officer and card, you can see them in the screenshots. I want to experiment a bit (and differentiate from other gretsword mod) with this, so heavy retexture/recolor for the officer and a little for the knight's cloak.
-Custom ability, Blood Knight's Hunger.
- Recruitable with the first level of the vampire cript but it required like vanilla level 2 armory (for that i have lowered their prices a bit).

COMPATIBILITY AND ISSUES
Should be compatible with everything since it adds only a unit to the roster. I've tested in custom battle and not extensively in the campaign. Tested also with highly modded game and it works.

BALANCING AND SUGGESTIONS
As before, i tried to balance looking at vanilla and other greatsword unit mod, but they surely need balancing. Please let me know what you think about balancing, stats, abilities, number of unit ecc, it is important for the mod :)

I am open to any suggestions, as for the shield, if it looks strange is because the vanilla one is quite annoying to edit, so i cannot achieve a better result for now i think..

GEMFX's preset used is the same as Valius Forta's Full Plate State Troops, you can find it there with instructions too.

After a long time, I have a question to this glorious ancient mod.
Do they get the grave guard's bonus? or the skeleton's bonus?

Yes it's sad :/ hopefully i can give them more variety by retexturing when i get better at that :)

Yea, thats a good idea. Its sad that the VC faction didn't come with other varients of undead weapons for their blood knights though. The lance itself looks different. x.x

You probably mean the one from the grave guards :) the reason i gave them this one is because the grave guard greatsword looks ruined and weared down..blood kinghts for their own nature and training tend to use the finest weapon they can obtain. I can add the grave guard greatsword as another variantmesh, in this way the weapon will appear on some units and not all, symbolizing the use by some vampires of the weapon they use when they "died", which could be cool :)

Hmm is it possible to give them a more..."vampiric" greatsword? I think/could have sworn there is a greatsword model that is undeadish. Hmmmmmmmm
