WMI Maelstrom AA Tank

The Maelstrom now has an automatically stabilized turret!



Howdy!

The Maelstrom is an Anti-Aircraft Tank is a low profile armored vehicle that can shred through air vehicles. She sports 8 gatling guns and 4 sequenced rocket launchers which allows her to put up a wall of lead for incoming attackers. She also sports a fancy skid steering system that makes her steer like a true tank. There is also an optional gyro assist function that stops the funky wheels from drifting all over the place.

The tank turret is controlled using my Mouse Aimed Rotor Turret Script which allows the driver to drive AND shoot at the same time!

This tank is designed for engaging air targets, and as such, it does not have any depression below the horizontal (because if it did, it would shoot itself D:). However, if you can manage to target a ground vehicle, the Maelstrom's weaponry can decimate land vehicles and stations as well!

This dang tank has gone through around a hundred revisions. This chassis was made using Dwarf Lord Pangolin's Grendel Main Battle Tank as a base. I have a modded variant that uses CSD battle cannons and a Reloadable Rocket Launcher version of this tank in addition to this AA variant. I may release them in the future, but I do not wish to spam the workshop :P
