Ploppable Bulk Dry Cargo Ship

Description
Ploppable Cargo Ship for your port.

Pro Tip: If you want your boats/ships to rock less, keep your marinas/ports shallow

Tris: 1990
LOD: 490

The ship is modeled to real world scale (274m) so it's... large.

@Overlord yeah i think i created my cruise ship as a non-floating building so it doesnt do this but this far down the line I won't be modifying these until I get back into playing CS :(

...in this game you have to always find some detour. So for example some invisible small asset and connect the ship to it and raise it up? Maybe this small asset will have the bad "lod" but ship will be still visible? :D Or vanilla floating buildings (they dont move) but they dont have problem with going underwater.

I'm no expert in assets creation but I noticed few things. There are few ways how to create asset on water. I've encountered ships which are props ships, which are parks, ships which are building and ships which are building marked as transportation ship. And ships which were "parks" did not have that lod issue going under water. Of course I dont know the asset details. I believe that building, park or transport ship category is still the same - building. But also I noticed that assets which dont have the fluid simulation dont do that. In this case I would prefer visible ship when zooming out than ships which "moves" I understand it gives a lot of realism. But mostly we are looking at our cities from above and from further away.

@Overlord So my theory is that paradox coded that for floating objects to drop the lod to the bottom to remove them from the fluid simulation, not planning on having any boats large enough that anyone would notice that far away... But I think I've seen other assets that don't drop, can't remember for sure. Anyway I keep all of my ports barely deeper than the bottom of these ships using the terrain tools. This almost completely eliminates the rocking motion as well as essentially solving this issue, when the LOD drops to the bottom, its practically there already so it doesnt really move.

Is it possible to fix that issue when zooming out the asset is under water?

@1624328200 Thanks! Theres no mass factored in, the rocking however can be manipulated by making your harbor shallow using the terrain tools, i keep mine barely deeper than the ships and they barely move.

Generally, nice work! But it shakes violently with sea waves. Maybe it is too light?

@vilgard92 not a good one. It has to do with the floating stuff, maybe even the template I used to make it. It's not an LOD thing either, and they dont just go underwater, they shift down and sit on the bottom i think. totally irritating but Ive noticed it in a bunch of other floating items.

when i zoom out it becomes under water... Any idea why ?
