ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ

I’ve made several in this series already so I’ll keep it brief!

I’d not made a galil yet - mainly because I love the galil I use ingame, the ‘Cerberus’.
The main focal 'real-estate' of this model is the stock and rear receiver which presented an excellent opportunity for a dragon tail. For a change this time I broke the dragon up into chunks of flames towards the rear as I felt it looked more interesting than a single solid object, I also gave the illustration in inner fill rather than being a mono-line: the end result being more colourful. The inclusion of neutral greys and silvers within the patina area meant making a color transition through the wear states less feasible without altering the overall balance - it's too large a weapon to be monochrome so I’ve made the dragon start neutral and get darker and more saturated. Special attention has also been paid to wear in non-GS areas.

Unfortunately you never see the handle during ingame animations, but you do in the inventory inspection animation. Despite this I’ve created a dragon insignia in a similar vein to the desert eagle.

Why are there two very similar versions?
Normally I work up different variations of the same weapon. Towards the end of development I tried an option with an orange accent underneath the upper receiver and instantly loved how it boosted the dragon illustration and rebalanced the contrast; the downside of this is that the overall design looked moreso like a toy gun. I couldn't decide which to finally submit, so there are two options for the purple, and one option for the brown.
