This is Ambrox62's version of the mod, he is the original author. Kudos to him for the wonderful things he's making, and working on.

Mod updated for G&K. It should not work with Vanilla game.

From the original Modinfo file:

The mod adds the following 10 ancient civs.
Assyrians, Britons, Carthaginians, Dacians, Gauls, Germanic Tribes, Hittites, Iberians, Phoenicians and Scythians.

It does NOT contain any 3D animated model.

Visit mod homepage for screenshots and infos. http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=416671

Big thanks to ambrox62 for having created this mod prior to G&K in the first place.
Ethnic Units credits: jpbar81, Patum333, danrell, JTitan.

Fixes:
- Complete integration to G&K.
- Text partly rewritten.
- Replaced Boudica with Cordelia, and Dido with Sophoniba.

To do:
- Replace Vanilla/G&K unit gaphics with custom ones (work in progress).
- Change some text to be more in phase with the replaced leaders (see above).

Recent Fixes:
- Units and Buildings have stats/yields/rate similar to G&K.
- Text modified to reflect the new changes to Units and Buildings.
- Added Ethnic Units to some Civs, the news units share the same stats, stategic view icons etc...with the original game units (4 units, 1 UU).
- Added Ethnic Units graphics to some Unique Units (Square Sail Ship).
- Added Compatibility with the Ethnic Units mod at http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=91830423&searchtext=
- Bundled the "UI - Multiple Unique Bonuses (GK)" mod by whoward69, mod at http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=79828897
Special and big thanks to him for allowing me to bundle his mod.
- Mod compatible with "UI - Multiple Unique Bonuses (GK)".

From his Modinfo file:
Permits up to 6 unique units/buildings/improvements per civilization.

Four screens are affected if a civilization can have nore than two unique bonuses
- Game Setup Screen
- Select Civilization Menu
- Game Loading Screen
- Civilopedia

The base Civilopedia code already handles more than two unique bonuses, and the other three screens will still work, just not display any more than two.

The Game Loading screen can be updated via a mod (eg this one), whereas the other two screens can only be changed by copying the four related files (two xml and two lua) and the UniqueBonuses.lua file over the base files.

Important Note: For the Game Loading screen to show the extra bonus icons the mod must be enabled before the main program is started - ie, downloading the mod, installing the mod, enabling the mod, and then starting a new game will not show the extra icons. They will not show until CivV is exited and restarted. (This is due to the way CivV caches xml/lua files and not a bug in the mod.)

I would say the relation of Britons being past Romans is kinda vague to include in a mediterranean list, but I'm glad all the same. Wonderful work.

@ReallynotUlrik I thought the Germans were more Goth than Viking.

@djlee02 Germans weren't celts. They were germans. Germans were vikings, Gauls and Britons are celts

Why does this mod add Carthage? As said by Churchill, I have something to add. Why are the Britons on here also, why? The celts are on here already, Gaul I am not to sure about. The Germans and Iberians make sense because those celts are very different but the Britons and Gauls?

The Merovingians were a Salian Frankish dynasty that came to rule the Franks in a region known as Francia in Latin for 300 years from the middle of the 5th century, their territory largely corresponding to ancient Gaul as well as the Roman provinces of Raetia, Germania Superior and the southern part of Germania Magna. The Merovingian dynasty was founded by Childeric I the son of Merovech, leader of the Salian Franks, but it was his famous son Clovis I who united all of Gaul under Merovingian rule. They did touch into the Mediteranian. And for some of you, they were decendents of the Hittites... Edify yourself So, while they were not Gaulish, Romans like to call em Gaul cause they liked garlic. They combined with some Germanic tribes by the way.

Why does the mod include Carthage?
TrafficCopTerry14 2.8.2013 klo 19.48
Well clearly you were wrong Germanic tribes are from west-north europe and none of the countries touch the meditteranean and guals are from France which is debatable(The people look more Germanic and it barley touches the sea) so why not add Carib Indians there kinda old or maybe Etruscans
