Many people on reddit have amazing ideas, but can't code them. I, on the other hand have zero ideas, but could code them all. Enter the Reddit's Community Mods Project, where I'll go and find the best ideas from the community, and bring them to life!

Today's item is Paranoia! Found in Devil Deals and Curse Rooms, this item gives a very big stats up on pickup (double damage + 0.5, -3 tears, +0.5 speed and + 0.6 shot speed). When you have Paranoia, though, you might hear Isaac cry in some rooms, and that is because a Paranoia Enemy is there! When picking the item up, in fact, 5 random types of enemies are set as Paranoia Enemies for the run. If hit by one of them, Isaac will be immediatly brought to half a heart, losing all the HP it previously had. Will you be brave enough to face the challenge, with your newly improved stats?

I just got oneshot by a paranoia enemy instead of being reduced to half a heart :/ it was a knight in the cathedral. Also I think more enemies should be set to paranoia enemies. When I have this item I encounter an average of slightly less than 1 type of paranoia enemy per game.

great item. It glitches and turns all modded item pictures into that of paranoia. Pls fix, great mod.

Hi Merlo! Bug report: I've picked up this item several times over with The Lost. Each time, the damage up only lasts for the current floor... which I have usually already beaten to get the Devil Deal. One seed example: ZAKWDQ3R

I think this is a fantastic item idea and I hope that it gets fixed soon.

Thanks to everyone suggesting and liking the mods! The team behind them is currently on holidays/vacations, and it's really hard to get together and make more of these or make fixes to the existing mods. We're sorry, and will be back with a bang in september!
