Description
Adds custom space elves with new: portraits, outfits, hairstyles, ships, city styles, flags, name lists, megastructures, traits, civics, events, and way too much more to put in a tiny blurb like this.

Ships

    Naboo meets Imperial themed ship set. With elfy vines. Or something. All vanilla ships, civilian stations, and select megastructures included.

Elven Names Lists
  • 7 Elven and 3 Drow namelists. Ayleid, Quenya, Sindarin, Altmer, and some randomish stuff. Drow have real Drow, Dunmer, and a sort of mixed list.



Gameplay
  • Spawns… ENABLED! Adds Elven Fallen Empires, elven primitives, and allows default spawning of existing elven empires.

  • I want a patch for X super cool mod!
    That’s great! Go make it! :-D We found supporting too many patches seriously cut into the development time we had available for the main mod. We will be happy to post any patches people make up at the top of the description however. Let us know about any patches you make in the comments!
  • I want the version of this mod for some silly past version of Stellaris!!
    There is no past version of stellaris. There has only been and only will be THIS version. Suggestions of past versions are clearly Blorg conspiracy theories.
  • Hey! The games says this mod is for some stupid OLD version of Stellaris! What gives!?
    Try deleting your <My Documents>/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod folder (but make sure you don’t trash non-steam mods if you have any). Then verify integrity of Stellaris’ files in Steam. That’s the best way to smack Steam into shape! :-)
  • Will you do ships of X, Y, Z, or Q?
    NO! Because I’m already busy enough with 3 ship sets.
  • Why do Drow/Ilythiiri ships look just like stupid elves!???
    It makes it easier to update the mod without having to deactivate half the ships every time. We’ll announce when the drow ships are ready for use! In the meantime, pretend those ship styles aren’t there.
  • Can I has just the ships!?
    No you freak! This is an elf mod! The ships are for the elves!! … No elves spawn normally so if you don’t want elves, just don’t pick any.
  • I don’t read stupid FAQs so I’m going to ask a question covered here!
    OK but some of us may have a little fun at your expense.
  • Can’t the elven ships be made out of wood, use sails and shoot magic arrows?
    These aren’t the elves you’re looking for. They can go about their business. Move along. :-)

Yeah, all known issues. Elven cities are invisible (until the next update anyway with some coming in). The Sunless Realms and Subterranean Inception prescripted empires are invisible. Annnd... you shouldn't be having any random elves anyway. (That's the Spawns Enabled mod which is still not updated.) We're... a bit behind. Slightly. Kind of. :lunar2019piginablanket:

We may very well, but right now we're swamped just keeping the rest of the mod running. As the above indicates. Once things settle down there might be some more elf traits on the way. Lots is possible now that wasn't before.

Currently don't have dark elves as a faction at all in randomly generated empires section, also no Elven cities are visible in city & room section. Is this a known issue or perhaps some mod incompatibility of mine.

do you plan on having more elf specific traits? After Psionics got a lot of juicy traits I'd like to see elves getting some special treatment as well

Seems the update is mostly ok ... except... the Subterranean Inception prescripted empire is hidden. The origin appears mostly fine, but we'll get things fixed up as soon as possible.

If you are using one of the invisible elf cities this will happen. Not to worry, the Art Department is on cities so they'll be in as soon as possible.

Have y'all Elvenhancers seen the new "allowed_civics" and "forbidden_civics" in species traits?

Seems like a nice design space for civics that apply only to immortal / long-lived / long-eared people.

In the planet tab, after I upgraded my relic world capital( with elven race and elven ship type) to Ecumenopolis, the background image of the planet tab just became something like a divided color block with upper blue and lower black. I'm using the NSC, and UI Overhaul Dynamic, and also Elvens.:steamsad::steamsad:

Quick hotfix update! Some star and planet flavor images should now work fine with the Dynamic GUI mod.
Also added the Russian localisations fixes by tzverg.
