Mountain Wilderness Terrain

Descrição
The 'Mountain Wilderness Terrain' is a North America based fictional environment created with L3DT. I made this terrain because, well, for one, I wanted to learn this aspect of modding in Arma, and next, I wanted to created a terrain that focuses mostly on the wilderness side of things rather than urban or even rural environments. There is basically no civilization and there are very few structures to be found. The most prominent features of the Mountain Wilderness are the many forests that can be found and explored within the world space.

Mountain Wilderness is 10.2 x 10.2 KM

It should be noted that I did not have any specific location in mind so for mission creators/modders you could use this as any location that has similar climate if you like the terrain enough to use it.

MOUNTAINEEEERRRRS.

I played a 5 hour op on this map and 4 and a half hours of it was spent walking and climbing.

10/10 would torment myself again

@FISH I appreciate the compliment. Trust me though there is plenty wrong with this terrain it mostly just looks nice from above

i got to say, im subscribed to alot of maps on arma, but this map gives me some pretty good ideas. the snow on the mountains is the cherry on top with this map. you did excellent on this map.

To be honest this is my favorite map, besides it is small i have been using it a long time cause is perfect for infantry and other uses. Wish you can make it bigger as future project.

@Chapter Master Augustus if it has a missing requirement, it tells you exactly which addon is missing upon starting the game. If this isn't the case, the error must be something else

@Rylan We tried again recently and it would appear that the issue no longer exists. It never specified which DLC.

Apparently this terrain needs a DLC to join, however it is not shown on the Steam page?
