These achievements are progressively unlocked for the most part and will be triggered as you complete certain milestones and story missions throughout the game. However, there are several that you'll need to do twice in order to get both outcomes; those will be noted throughout the guide. Achievements marked "Progress" are ones earned by simply progressing the storyline.

Complete - 'When Good Heists...' - Mission #1 [Progress]
There are no special requirements for this achievement. Just complete the mission.



Complete - 'I'm Free - Free Falling' - Mission #2 [Progress]
There are no special requirements for this achievement. Just complete the mission.



Complete - "Party Time" - Mission #3 [Progress]
There are no special requirements for this achievement. Just complete the mission.



Complete - "We've Only Just Begun" - Mission #4 [Progress]
There are no special requirements for this achievement. Just complete the mission.


The last mission in act 1 will give you an ultimatum, so before you attempt the mission, make a seperate save of your progress to unlock the achievement, otherwise you'll have to start a new save and replay act 1 to unlock the other achievement. Choosing to keep the tower standing will unlock "Tower Defense", while destorying it will unlock "Kuh, Boom".



Complete "The Ho Boat" - Mission #5 [Progress]
There are no special requirements for this achievement. Just complete the mission.



Complete "STAG Party" - Mission #6 [Progress]
There are no special requirements for this achievement. Just complete the mission.



Complete "http://deckers.die" - Mission #7 [Progress]
There are no special requirements for this achievement. Just complete the mission.



Complete Act 2 - [Progress]
Note: there are no alternative courses of action at the end of this act like there was in act one.



Complete "Zombie Attack" - Mission #8 [Progress]
You get it by completing the quest "Zombie Attack"



Complete "Murderbrawl XXXI" - Mission #9 [Progress]
You get it by completing the quest "Murderbrawl XXXI"



Complete Act 3 in one way.
Kill the Killbane and complete the quest "STAG Film" (See Gangstas... In Space! for further information)



Complete Act 3 in another way.
Save Shaundi and complete the quest "Gangstas in Space"

At the end of "Three Way" you'll have to make another decision. You can choose to follow and eliminate Killbane or save Shaundi from death. You don't need to save your game like you did in Act 1 ending because the game will force you to play this twice anyway, so you can unlock both achievements.

Play Saints Row 3 co-op for five hours.
You'll need to play co-op with someone in order to unlock this one. You don't need to do anything else other than play for five hours, regardless of how much or how little you get accomplished.



Beat all Missions in co-op.
You have to complete all 53 Missions in co-op mode. This can be done with the same partner or any number of players as long as they are done start to finish.



Complete all instances of Activities in co-op.
Much like beating all missions in co-op, you'll have to finish all activities with a partner. This can be done with the same partner or any number of players as long as they are done start to finish.

There are several smaller side missions scattered around Steelport that you'll need to complete. Their requirements are as follows and they're locations are shown below with the respective achievement. To make things easier, I've marked them on this map for reference.

Complete all instances of Insurance Fraud.
Rack up the required amount of money in damages to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of Trafficking.
Defend & transport drugs to their respective drop zones to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of Heli Assault.
Defend your gang during the designated time to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of Mayhem.
Cause mayhem and destruction in the allotted time limit to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of Escort.
Escort a wild tiger in your back seat without aggitating it to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of Snatch.
Pickup ladies of the night and defend off rival gang members while bringing them to their destination to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of Trail Blazing.
Make it through the checkpoints before time runs out to pass each instance.

Complete both instances of Guardian Angel.
Protect Pierce from above via a helicopter, rockets and sniper rifle to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of tank Mayhem.
Cause the designated amount of damage with your tank to pass each instance.



Complete all instances of Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax.
Get to the end of the obstacle course before time runs out to pass each instance. These can be difficult for some players. Some tips:

• Always upgrade your weapons when possible.
  
• Headshots will upgrade your weapons quicker.
  
• Health does not regenerate, so look for bonus health drops while avoiding the unethical ones [pandas].
  
• It is better to dodge brutes than to fight them if possible. The more you kill, the more that spawn. Keep that in mind.
  
• If you're playing co-op, both of you must successfully reach the end to pass the level. If one of you dies, both of you must restart the mission.

These achievements are unlocked when you complete everything there is to do on a particular island. This will include completing all activities [which I detailed their locations above], gang activites and purchasing all properties. Once you have done all of these instances, you'll earn each the respective achievement in each location.

Complete all City Takeover gameplay in the Downtown district.
There are a total of 16 Activities, 8 Gang Operations, 10 Stores, 8 Properties and 2 Cribs in the Downtown district.



Complete all City Takeover gameplay in the New Colvin district.
There are a total of 12 Activities, 8 Gang Operations, 8 Stores, 8 Properties and 3 Cribs in the New Colvin district.



Complete all City Takeover gameplay in the Stanfield district.
There are a total of 13 Activities, 8 Gang Operations, 8 Stores, 6 Properties and 3 Cribs in the Stanfield district.



Complete all City Takeover gameplay in the Carver Island district.
There are a total of 15 Activities, 8 Gang Operations, 8 Stores, 8 Properties and 2 Cribs in the Carver Island district.



Complete all City Takeover gameplay in the entire city of Steelport.
Once you have unlocked the above four achievements, this one will unlock at the same time, signifying you have done all of the above for the entirety of Steelport.

Buy your first Upgrade from the Upgrade Store.
You can get to upgrade screen by Cellphone --> Upgrades. Pick any one upgrade for this achievement to unlock.



Kill 1000 Gang Members.
You'll earn this naturally, as 1,000 gang members is fairly easy to come by while playing the game. Once you kill your 1,000th victim, this achievement will unlock.
]


Fully upgrade one Weapon in each slot.
You have to upgrade at least one weapon in each weapon slot to level four, grenades included, with baseball being an exception with a maximum level of two. Upgrade any one weapon for this achievement to unlock.



Upgrade one Stronghold to its full glory.
There is a unique stronghold for each gang. They are three: Count, Safeword and Reactor. Upgrade any one stronghold for this achievement to unlock. This cannot be done in co-op. You'll have to enter single player to see the option. Click on "Stronghold Customination" to upgrade it.



Spend over 30 hours in Steelport.
Play the game for 30 hours. Simple.



Create and share a character online.
Go to any clothing store and then choose "Character Gallery" if you already have a THQ account, enter your login information. If not, register and log in. After you logged in, there will be an "Upload" section. Click that and you'll get the achievement right away. Easy stuff!



Kill 25 Gang Members each with 'the Penetrator' AND the Fart in a Jar.
"The Penetrator" can be bought from the "Friendly Fire" store or earned through mission progression. Upgrading the flash bang will turn it into the "Fart in a Jar". Use both on 25 different gang members to unlock this one.



Customize 10 vehicles.
This is an easy achievement to earn. Just remember that you'll have to customize ten different cars in order to unlock it. You cannot customize the same car ten times.


Find 25%/100% of all Collectibles.

These can be tricky if you don't have the collectable locator purchased. It is highly recommended not to start this one until you do. It only costs $49,500 so it isn't expensive towards the mid-game onward. There are 80 in total to collect and can be found at these locations:


Complete your first Challenge.
This one you'll probably unlock by just playing the game. Complete any one of the 41 challenges to unlock it. Your challenge progress can be found: Cellphone -> Saintsbook -> Challenges.



Complete all 41 Challenges.
For the most part these are relatively simple. There are a few trickier ones, though, but check your challenge progression as mentioned above to see what ones you still need to complete. Kill all of the hitman Assassination targets.
To view Assasination targets and your progression, go to Cellphone -> Saints Book -> Assasinations. Assasinations ask you to kill a specific target with a specific method which will be stated in the description.



Steal and deliver all Vehicle Theft targets.
To view Vehicle Thefts and your progression, go to Cellphone -> Saints Book -> Vehicle Thefts, just like Assassinations. In Vehicle Thefts, you'll be asked to get a specific car in a specific area into a drop-off place. It's not difficult but it takes time just like Assassinations.

Do your first nutshot AND testicle assault.
This achievement is two parts. You must do a "Nut shot" and "Testicular Manslaughter" to get this achievement. Check your controls and walk up to someone and hit the "Melee" attack. Your character will kick and/or punch the unsuspecting victim in the testicles [OUCH!] The other portion of the achievement requires you to simply shoot someone in, well, the nuts.

Sorry, not sorry...


Play for at least 2 hours as a male character AND 2 hours as a female character. You can either start a new save and play as the other gender, or go to any owned plastic surgeons and play for two hours.



Hijack 50 vehicles - Dukes style.
You run towards a vehicle and click your action button; the default button is "E".



Taunt AND/OR Compliment 50 gang members.
You can taunt with Z button and compliment with X button. I suggest you taunting the enemy gang members instead of complimenting them. This way you can get the Challenge named "Taunt Gang Members" which wants you to taunt 50 enemy gang members.



Explore every hood in Steelport.
The official achievement description is "explored every hood," but it's really "explore every district." Exploring a district means to drive by every shop and property in a given district so its icon appears on your map. You don't necessarily have to buy the shop or property; getting it on your map is enough.



Kill 50 brutes.
You can attract brutes with high gang notoriety. There are a few types of brutes, unique for each gang. Killing 50 of them might take a while.


Destroy all Gang Operations in Steelport.
Eliminate all street gangs in Steelport. They are scattered throughout the map, but you can find them in their designated locations on the map below. Do note that the yellow icon is an operation only accessible by the air.

All of these achievements will require the DLC to complete.

Complete all eight instances of the Genki Bowl, which include two instances of Apocolypse Genki, Sad Panda Skyblazing, Sexy Kitten Yarngasm and Super Ethical PR Opportunity.



Finished both instances of Apocalypse Genki. Making you post-apocalyptic. Finish both instances of Apocalypse Genki. Once you get enough cash to open the exit door go through it to complete it.



Feed 5 mascots to the fishes in Apocalypse Genki.
This can be done at any pool of water in any Apocalypse Genki instance, but I recommend the one on the west island. Once you start it up you will see a mascot eaten and Water Bear image will show on your screen, this is the image we are looking for for each mascot in the water. You can pick the mascots up and throw them in, or just run into the first pool while holding onto a mascot. Once you see Water Bear image show 5 times the achievement should unlock.



Flew through all the rings in Sad Panda Skyblazing.
For this, simply just fly through all the rings, even out of order, to unlock the achievement. You don't need to earn the score or beat the level to unlock it.


Landed at the feet of Big Joe Magarac.
Like the previous achievement, ignore everything else except landing in the target zone at the end. You'll unlock the achievement regardless of your overall score.


Killed all the mascots in Sad Panda Skyblazing.
I found this to be the hardest achievement in the DLC and the entire game. You'll have to kill *every* mascot on all five rooftops in one run in order to unlock this achievement. As mentioned above, focus only on killing them and nothing else. Since points don't matter, utilize all the balloons to keep yourself in the air and high enough to land on all five of them.



Destroyed a mouse with a giant ball of yarn.
Look for an ATV with the head and tail of a mouse, run it over or kill it with your burst attack.


Created a $150,000 combo worth of destruction in Sexy Kitten Yarngasm.
Fairly easy one to obtain, just keep the combo going and utilize your three burst attacks effectively.



Roasted 50 peds with the Genki Mobile’s flamethrower. Toasty!
When you start the instance, instead of picking up Genki drive the opposite way that way you won't have anything to fill your Annoyance meter. You can still run over pedestrians to fill your meter and use to it burn enemies.

Alternatively, you can pick up Genki, complete the mission and before delivering him to the final drop zone to complete the mission, run around and burn 50 people with the flamethrower. Both ways will unlock the achievement.



Destroyed 5 chase vehicles and kept Professor Genki from becoming annoyed.

In the beginning of the trial, fill your pleasure meter and roast any chase vehicles in your area. They go down quick so getting this achievement is easy.

Kill 15 cameramen.
Throughout this level there are cameramen all around and you have to kill 15 of them. Take your time, as you are not on a time limit. Kill them all to unlock this achievement.



Land on the Parachute Target during the rescue scene.
After the director hates the first take, he will make you do a second in which you parachute in and have to land in the target. Landing anywhere inside the circle will unlock this achievement. If you miss, you can restart from the last checkpoint and try again.



Destroy all enemy spacecraft during the chase scene.
Once you get in the bulldog (The military humvee looking vehicle with turret) you will start being chased by flying vehicles. Shoot down all the spaceships you see to get this achievement.




Kill 7 Space Amazons with melee attacks.
Space Amazons look like the creatures from Avatar except in space suits. You have to kill 7 of them with melee by pressing the or equipping your fists and using and



Kill 35 Space Amazons with the Laser Pistol.
In order to get this one you have to kill 35 of the Avatar like creatures with just the laser pistol. You'll fight more than that just playing the mission so it isn't too hard to get.


Collect all 6 hidden clapboards.
There are 6 clapboards total to find in this mission. There are 2 per backstage set you go onto. The locations are:

Backstage Area 1:

1. Just in front of the crushed plane.
2. Right after you go up to the roof.

Backstage Area 2:

3. After you exit the scene, there's a bed room set directly in front of you. Go to the bed and turn left and you will see it.
4. This is the tricky one, I missed it the 1st time.. When they talk about Prof. Genki you will see a wrestling ring with 2 huge boxes & a sofa. The clapboard is behind the box with a big pink question mark. Press jump to enter the ring to take it.

Backstage Area 3:

5. After you run out of the scene and you will see some replacements of your homie. Go further, you will see a place that looks like Zimo's crib, the clapboard is in the kitchen.
6. After you take the 5th clapboard, turn right and you will see a huge robot, the last one is just behind it.



Kill Space Brutina.
When the mission to kill Space Brutina (a female version of the brute) spawns. Find her on the map and kill her, thus unlocking the achievement.


Destroy 10 enemy spacecraft with the Aegean while filming.
When you are in the spaceship uploading viruses, make sure you shoot down 10 enemy space craft during this. Ther are three areas you need to upload the virus at, so if you don't get it at the first area, don't be concerned.



Perform all vehicle stunts with the Aegean.
While you are flying, the director will order you to do three stunts.
The stunts are:

• Near Crash (just fly close to a building)
  
• Fly through bridge (Just fly through where the checkpoint marker is
  
• Fly under bridge (Towards the end of the mission when your controls are messed up, fly under a bridge. This may be difficult with your ship going haywire)

Complete all missions for Gangstas in Space.
You get this one for completing all 3 missions mentioned above.

Defeat 15 enemies at Technically Legal using only melee attacks.
Use only melee attacks during this mission; you may also use the chainsaw during this portion of the game.



Destroy 45 Police and Swat Vehicles while protecting Jimmy's car.
During the first mission you are given a rocket launcher and need to protect Jimmy's car. Destroy at least 45 cars during the course of the mission to unlock this achievement.


Complete mission 'Weird Science'.
Complete the first mission named Weird Science. If you did the above missions, this one will also unlock.



Spray 25 rabid fans with the Swarmitron.

During the second mission you will be given the Swarmitron, a gun that fire bees. Fire it at 25 fans to unlock this achievement.



Destroy 5 Steelport Guard vehicles during mission 'Tour de Farce'.
After you protected the stage in the second mission, shoot down five attack helicopters with your rocket launcher to unlock this achievement.



Complete mission 'Tour de Farce'.
Complete the second mission named Tour de Farce. If you did the above missions, this one will also unlock.



Shoot down a helicopter with a Saints Flow fireball.
As soon as the third mission starts, use your fireball ability to take down the helicopter in front of you.



Kill a Brute using only melee damage while under the influence of Saints Flow.
While battling the Morningstar, they will send in minigun Brutes. Use only melee to kill it to unlock this achievement.



Prevent Johnny Tag from taking damage on the Magarac Bridge.
You will have to take out Jeeps, Snipers, and Helicopters without Johnny taking any damage. The achievement is a bit buggy, as Johnny can be hit, but not enough to lower his life meter and it will still unlock.



Complete all missions for "The Trouble With Clones..."
Complete the third mission named Trouble With Clones. If you did the above missions, this one will also unlock.
