Better Bretonnian Knights! - Speed Only -

*This mod effects all Bretonnian cavalry, not just their knights!

What this Mod Does:

Making use of the new Chivalry Meter, you can improve your knights to be faster! On it's own it can make your cavalry almost as fast as some of the wood elven cavalry!

What this Mod Changes:

Chivalry Level (*Negative*): Nothing

Chivalry Level (0-200): Cavalry Speed +3%

Chivalry Level (201-400): Cavalry Speed +5%

Chivalry Level (401-600): Cavalry Speed +10%

Chivalry Level (601-800): Cavalry Speed +15%

Chivalry Level (801-1000): Cavalry Speed +20%

INCOMPATABILITIES:

Should be pretty good to go with everything. I made it to be as compatable as possible, and the only db table this modifies is the "effect_bundles_to_effect_junctions" table. If another mod you have is using this table, there may(?) be problems.

Notes:

-This mod was created because I, as a non-table top player, had heard from the lore that the best cavalry in the old world (ignoring the blood knights as a one-off) was hands down from Bretonnia. After getting my hands on the, admittedly very cool looking, Bretonnian cav, I was quite underwhelmed. Not only were they only slightly better than most empire knights, I was finding myself ripping my hair out as my hyper-elite grail knights struggled to run down wood elven infantry (I think most of the problem with them was trying to fight with cavalry in a forrest but YOLO right?)! So to fix some of these problems, I've made them borderline OP (or really from what I've heard from the lore background videos on youtube, the norm for the Bretonnians).
-I had originally intended to just go in and change each of the knights to be faster, but after messing around for a bit, decided that this would both A.) be easier and B.) be more compatable with mods.
-This is intended to be ballanced by the only wood elven cavalry using horses having 95 speed while grail knights only get 75. With a chivalry level of 801+, grail knights will be close to the stock standard wood elven horse archers, with actual horses, not those magical elk things.

~Since I cannot make a version uniquely tailored to everyone, this mod is easily edited in the "Pack File Manager" which can be found with a quick googe search. If you do not wish to edit it in that, then choose one that is relatively close to what you want. I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE 1000 VERSIONS OF THIS MOD ON THE WORKSHOP. That isn't to say I won't make one for you, it might just need to be unique enough for me think it is warranted. So far I think there is a good range of options :)

can you make trident of manann bonus effect to anything else than the "near" nonexistent sea/naval battle that can only be done by autoresolve? I wish trident of manann bonus elsewhere on port income(when controlling port of Manann/bordeleaux) or get other blessing unit stat factionwide. sry if this not related to your mod

IF YOU HAVE ANY MORE REQUESTS FOR THESE MODS, PLEASE MAKE THEM *UNIQUE* I would rather not flood the workshop with a bunch of "Better Knights of Bretonnia, 3/32nds and No Melee Defence" if you catch my drift! :steamhappy:

Not a bad idea at all. The knights do get a little too slow while in lance
