Leírás
Here's a simplified binary number system. It only requires eight lasers, meaning that it can be incorporated into test chambers without sending them soaring over the item limit.

The mechanism that operates it is extremely simple. As you can see, there are four buttons. From left to right, they represent 1000 (8), 0100 (4), 0010 (2) and 0001 (1). The buttons are connected to two lasers each. One represents zero, the other one represents one. The "0" laser starts enabled, and its catcher connects to every number (represented by a flip panel) with a zero in the place value in question. The "1" laser starts disabled, and connects to every number with a one in that place value. So if the input is 1001, then only flip panel nine will activate. Flip panel one won't activate as the zero laser for the "8" place value will be deactivated. This system ensures that only the correct laser will be on at a given time.

Yes, I removed the connection lines. There are sixty eight of them. Trust me, they're useless here.

Ahh, i see. Fair enough :)

Ok, don't worry about it :)

I did not assume that you did that by mistake. I said I didn't come across this issue and so I didn't know it exists.

My feelings weren't hurt at all. I was merely noting that that's not the kind of mistake that I would make.

No need to have your feelings hurt, Nick.

At this point, you should know that I would never make a blatant oversight like that :)

So THAT'S why. I was wondering why you used the 1-lasers. :-)
I have only done 3-digit circuits yet. So it's no wonder I haven't come across this issue.

If buttons could handle more connections, then it could be done with four lasers. I had to use eight since there are eight "1" connecttions per button, plus the "0" laser. Since there are only eight connections per item, I added the "1" lasers.

Nicely done. After looking at it i noticed that this could be done with only 4 lasers. I assume you used 8 for clarity?

I experienced the same with my "Gizmos" map. I just made the room not portable in order to avoid exploits but I couldn't compile it. Maybe BEEmod is responsible for that (but I don't even use BEEmod elements in that map).
