The karambit is held with the blade pointing downward from the bottom of the wrist, usually bending forward but occasionally backwards. While it is mainly used in a biting or hooking motion, karambit with a finger ring are also used in a drill movement to beat the opponent with the finger ring. This in particular has a high resistance cord orange color, anti slip for a better footprint and handling with the hands.
