Normally I build my linear grav drives in a way the ship will not pitch or yaw when GD is engaged and also use the GD as a kind of Nitro Boost only. ;)
On our server we also have a quite strict no script run per tick policy which would render the script not very usefull anymore. :/
But still interesting to check out. ;)

Be carefull when landing on the moon though... the GravDrive saved me twice already. ;)
