Old Dust 2 (CSGO) [CSGO required version]

CSGO IS REQUIRED for this version!

If you don't have CSGO, use this version. It contains all the assets in the map, so you don't need anything to play it! Not even CSS.


INTERNAL NAME: DE_DUST2_CSGOPORT


This is a refined port of de_dust2, the famous bomb map made by Valve, from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Unlike other ports, this map was carefully fixed to be as close as possible to the real map! Also this port was made from the latest version available of Dust 2 in CSGO.

If you don't know this map, it contains a number of streets and alleys in a Middle-East town, and no interiors apart from a small temple.

- Navigation mesh included and working
- CSGO color correction included for safety (use mat_colorcorrection 0 in console to turn it off)
- Dynamic shadows on some objects to make it look more like CSGO
- Optimized


Known bugs:

- Near bombsite A, the temple dome in the distance may flicker depending on where you stand. This is probably because the map was compiled with VVIS in fast mode; the reason for that is that running it in normal mode could potentially take days for the map to compile, and I figured this little glitch was not worth it.

I'll release more CSGO ports and I'm ready to take requests.
