Be hailed as a true conqueror: kill a million enemies!

To finish this achievement quickly, you need to have a reliable hardware and just make the unit size as big as it can go! You can use mods or just change the data by yourself!

* For reference,I am using my computer with i7 4790K, 16gb ram, 980gtx and I spent about 2-3hours to finish this achievement. (from about 80,000 kills to 1,000,000 kills)

Open the preferences.empire_script.txt in: C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts\preferences.empire_script.txt

Finding the line: campaign_unit_multiplier 1; # campaign_unit_multiplier <float>, Set default unit multiplier for campaign #


Increase numbers of campaign_unit_multiplier as big as your computer can sustain. Enormous unit size may cause game crash.

For standard line infantry:

*1=160 men
* 1.5=240 men
* 2.5=400 men
* 3.5=560 men
* 4=640 men
* 5=800 men
* 7.5=1200 men

The number I used was 10.5

To finish it quickly,you need two units: Rocket troops and cavalries!



War rocket is a efficient Artillery to kill a pile of cavalries! It's a good option for taking kills! Unfortunately, the default numbers of Artillery is only 4 per 1 unit :( ,so you need to change the Rocket troop's basic values to increase the numbers.

I used PackFileManager for editing. You can find the download link on google (Beware of Trojan. BTW)

*Before you changing the data, please BACKUP.

*Turn off "the CA Packs are read only" first.



For 1.5.0 build 1332 version, Open the patch5.pack by PackFileManager: C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\empire total war\data\patch5.pack and then select db, then select unit_stats_land_tables > unit_stats_land

*You are suggested to use the latest version of PackFileManager. Some old versions may not be able to edit the tables in patch5.pack.



The table shows on the right side is the basic values of your units, so find the "rockets_fixed" and increase the nunbers of artillery! (For me, 30)



Then increase the values of "core_marksmanship" and "core_loading skill" (For me, both 200).


If you want to increase the range of Rocket,just go to projectiles_tables > projectiles



Find the line of "rockets",then increase the value of "effective_range" (2000 is enough)




"Save".

start a single game.
Enjoy your time!

It is a time consuming achievement,so,be patient and find a quick solution to finish it ! :)

*If your game keep crashing after changing the game data and you lost your backup, you can remove the pack5 file then cilck the "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" on steam.
