Western-style Hat (with a troublesome Leather Duster)

This was an experiment to see if I could make a 3d model of an object I own. In this case, it was my hat (I don't remember the style's name). So, here it is. 2048x2048 texture and 5.3k tris. The actual hat uses buffalo coins (replicas most likely), so I thought Septims would be a nice touch. Made with 3ds Max 2011 and Photoshop CS4.

You can craft it at a tanning rack (listed under leather) for a couple pieces of leather, leather strips, and 8 gold. The hat comes in light armor (very little protection) and clothes (no protection) variants. The light armor one was just because I wanted to get that armor bonus for wearing all light armor.

The hat can be worn by Humans, Khajit, Orcs, Elves, and Argonians both male and female.

Credit to Bethesda for the Septim textures I cannibalized for the hat.

Known issues:
- The hat will clip with long hair. A prime example is default human male hair. Covering long hair makes your character bald, so I decided not to do that.

- The duster doesn't have a first person model (Attempts to assign one have failed. No idea why.)

Notes:

- As the title states, this is a beta. The ground object (what you see when you drop something) is rather ridiculous and, needless to say, collision doesn't match up. The duster uses body slot 57, so it should wrap around most clothing/armor, but expect clipping.

- I'm hoping having multiple people use it will show whether or not I've eliminated the random polygon stretching bug. I've only scaled polys and reassigned bone weights, but last time it still produced that bug. If it does occur, taking it off and putting it back on should fix it. That, or installing graphics drivers (I kid you not, but the fix didn't last long).

- I've uploaded the duster only to have a backup of known working copies of the esp and nifs. I need to clean up my working directories.

- There are no 1st person models. I tried plugging in the 3rd person view, but that didn't seem to work.
