Global Changes

Descrizione
Global Changes 3.5

This mod changes several global values for the player and the AI.

I created a special offline version and a tutorial which you can use to customize this mod.

Compatibility and technical information

- compatible with patch 3.* and all DLCs
- compatible with all languages
- fully save game compatible
- should be compatible with any other mod
- not "Ironman" compatible and the achievements are deactivated

These changed values will be detected immediately by the game. If you remove this mod again, then these values will be set back to the vanilla settings and your save games will still fully work.

If another mod changes the sames values, then the mod which is higher on the mod launcher list will take the priority over these values.

This mod updates several values of the vanilla file "00_defines.txt" with my additional file "stellarisglobalchanges_defines.txt".

I updated my mod to the new patch and the DLC. I adapted several entries due to the new patch and removed some values as they aren't anymore in the vanilla files.

I updated my mod to the new patch 2.2 and the DLC. I adapted several entries due to the new patch and removed some values as they aren't anymore in the vanilla files. The most important change is that the sector/planet caps have been changed to new EMPIRE_SIZE_* values.

I updated my mod to the new patch 2.1 and DLC Distant Stars. I adapted several entries due to the new patch.

I added these new values:

NAVAL_CAPACITY_POP_MULT
STARBASE_CAPACITY_SYSTEM_MULT
STARBASE_CAPACITY_POP_MULT

My mod still works after the last small patch 2.0.5 and the patch didn't changed the important file "00_defines.txt".

@Baleur
Oh yes some of the vanilla standard values are indeed a bit "strange".

Its insane some of the vanilla values.. Like the restriction on 1 science ship and 4 constructors for AI empires. Just insanity, whichever dev added that. Even just doubling those values makes AI empires far more potent in expanding. Imagine if the player was locked to 1 science ship and 4 constructors, it'd be way more difficult.

Oh thanks a lot :-) Nice that my tutorial and Changes post was helpful for your own private mod. :-)

My mod still works after the last small patch 2.0.4.

Basically you can use and even add with the same code-system quite any value in the vanilla file "00_defines.txt" located in this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stellaris\common\defines

I love this so much!
I used it as a template for my own taste mod. Thank you so much for including the base values in your Changes post, very helpful.
