Please Enjoy!
Ps, as I said I hope it releases soon, it is just so cool!
there are many posts on the work around for the mods.
1. Open ModLauncherWPF.exe. It's located in XCOM2/Binaries/Win64/Launcher.
2. Old launcher will appear. Select wanted mods.
3. Start the game. Red screen will appear, but this is okay. hit escape until red screens gone.
4. Close the game with alt+F4.
5. Open new launcher.
6. Select wanted mods in new launcher.

@Xarkorrn: The Codex for WoTC is done. I tried to fire up the game and finish testing, but it looks like Firaxis has pushed out a new launcher that doesn't work well. It doesn't recognize Mods unless you use AML (at least that's all I know currently).
From there, I've experienced an issue in game regarding Soldier Promotion. I don't use anything that Mods that part of the game, so maybe a rare edge case? Not sure yet.
