This map was derived from Terrain Party download at 1:1 scale. (18 sq KM) The starting square puts you in the Downtown (Financial) District. Water features in Golden Gate Park (Like Huntington Falls), Lake Merced Park and elsewhere are incorporated. Air routes do lead to SFO, but since SFO is off the standard playable area, its possible to ressurect Crissy Field in the Presidio or to slightly "cheat" Oakland International Airport north. Air Routes in my earlier map did not work. That has been corrected in this version.I've NOT found a good Golden Gate model that I can incorporate as yet so a simple no pillars bridge is in place outside the standard playable area. Liberties have been taken with the terrain to make several of the piers capable of supporting zoneable roads. If you're careful, there is enough room to get the in-game aquarium onto pier 63. For those interested in playing a standard game, Dogpatch has large oil reserves, The Presidio is heavily forested and several areas are fertile. Since Brisbane is outside the standard playable area the ore responsible for the mining operations in the mountains near there have been replicated in the same range closer to Crocker. There are also several other patches of ore near most of the major hills. As with the real San Francisco Bay, there's a strong outflow toward the sea that should keep sewage from backing up into the bay.
