I hate the fossil game. You probably hate the fossil game. This mod makes it so the fossil game doesn't suck so much. Generally speaking there are but a handful of rocks or less and only one fossil square required to complete each sequence.

No more tearing your hair out after accidentally failing the puzzle with only two squares to go. No more screaming in aggravation when you hit Escape by accident and the game casually destroys another fossil; the very one you've wasted time combing for on yet another sand planet. Indiana Jones wouldn't have put up with that and neither will we!

This mod alters interface/games/fossilgame/fossil.lua and generator.lua.


7/28/16:

By request, my new mod "Extra Fossil Game Tools!" If you'd rather have some additional tools instead of being able to complete the minigame quickly, this one is for you. Note that "EZ Archeology" and "Extra Fossil Game Tools" are not compatible so there's no telling what may happen if you have both running at once. One or the other, people!

The Puzzle isn't that hard if you plan carefully and get the most out of your tools. Plan ahead, save a hammer and youll have a good chance of swimming in skeletons.

Thank god,the original fossil game is annoying,I don't know what I am doing and breaking the slightest thing ends it,i've never got a fossil because of that damn minigame but now I might be able to.

@Toni-Technaclaw: If you have other mods installed there could be a compatibility issue which is causing the crash. If you don't have any other mods installed then you may need to uninstall and reinstall the game.
