if this mod doesn't show up after subscribing, make sure to restart Starbound and/or Steam a few times until Steam decides to actually download the mod...

I found it difficult to recognize the differences between various ores. Worst offenders were Platinum vs Silver vs Titanium, and Gold vs Solarium. Although I'm not colorblind, I guess players who are will have an even harder time to distinguish various ores.

So I added a small letter colored like the ore itself above each ore type, to make them better recognizable.


Compatibility:
This mod might not work with other mods that modify ores or add new ores, but is explicitly tested to work well with Illuminated Ores as well as Frackin' Universe and Industrialization: Starbound Edition.

If you notice any issues with mod compatibiliy, please let me know.


Multiplayer Information:
This is a client-side mod, there is no point in installing it on a server. Players with the mod can play together with players without the mod without causing any issues.

Omgg ty so much for this :steamhappy: Colorblind af lol, I would greatly appreciate something like this for the starmap too if you find the time, I know I'm not the only one in need <3

@Crystalblades ah, awesome. well, if you want to look into it, feel free to do so. I'm assuming it's something with the load order, as it usually is - unless some recent update had changed all the ore names or something. Didn't get to look into it yet. Since I'm guessing you're probably gonna re-upload it, I'm gonna have to check load order settings in my Mods anyway - or did you already reupload? I'm a bit out of the loop on that mod. :)

hey @amadox i've taken over updating/improving the industrialization mod and i've heard that their was problems with the lettered ores and the ise4 i was wondering if i could be of help in fixing it?

No i only know i still have a copy from when i tried unpacking the mods to figure out if i could find possible problem myself, even in chucklefish forum i could not find any explanation why it got removed

Well seems ISE is gone so you can save yourself the work unless you wanna do it for those that have it manualy

Same problem with IO, could get a temporary by unpacking the mod and rename the folder in question. ISE ore glows again but for some reason same thing did not work for LO
