Redguard Knight Armor

'Redguard Knight Armor' is a lore friendly, stand alone, heavy or light armor set. This set was built to cater to the Redguard players out there. There was only one Redguard themed armor set in all of Skyrim... until now.

The Redguards hail from another land, and are aliens in Skyrim. Their homeland of Hammerfell is dry, dusty, and hot. Since many players wish to role play as races from afar, I have decided to aid in this endeavor. Redguards can now don a set of armor from back home as they traverse the unforgiving tundra of Skyrim. If you enjoy role playing, and know the lore of the Redguards, this set is for you.

Note that the classic weapon of the Redguards, the Scimitar, has been included as a craftable and upgradable item in this mod. Why play a Redguard without one?

I also intend to add an additional weapons pack to this mod soon to include a two handed Scimitar, a Spear, and an ornate round shield in Redguard style.

The armor is scaled to be near Dragon Bone in armor value and weight. The Scimitar is equivalent to a Daedric sword. The items are powerful, but within the bounds intended for the game. I don't want the player to outgrow the item's stats, but still kept the stats lore friendly and immersive for your game-play.

Craftable under the Steel section at a normal forge. The components are simple and easy to attain, but there is a certain satisfaction that comes with forging your own equipment rather than picking it up from a freebie box.

Currently this armor is only for males. The lizard and cat folk are advised to use the armor with a different helmet, because they have football heads. The vanilla Redguard helmet, or wearing no helmet are good alternatives for you until i create beast race versions.
