Rebalances Rangers by adding a new stealth ability and moving Implacable to the Squaddie tier, so both sides of tree can benefit from it (only available on new campaigns right now).

Slink Master offers a more competitive option for the stealth side of the Ranger tree by offering an always on passive ability, much like Bladestorm on the melee side of the tree, instead of an ability that only triggers if you kill something. This rebalance also helps Rangers survive the first few months of the campaign, when Ranger casualties will be the highest.

The Slink Master ability itself halves the detection radius of all enemies while in concealment.

NOT .ini configurable, since that would be broken gameplay-wise, and is literally broken - the mod doesn't work if you use a value pulled from an .ini file.

cheers. realized that this morning, actually.
and..lol...also found out about how to alter load order via that (and the proper link to the newest releases)

will definitely hope motivation wanders your way soon™ and will wait patiently

The LW Toolbox doesn't have any classes. You're thinking of the LW Perk Pack.

As for load order, it's easier to mess with it via the Alternative Mod Launcher [github.com].

and i didn't know you could experiment with the load order...are you talking about NMM?
macelharen 2.8.2017 klo 7.31
it's not that. the toolbox (which is designed to work with vanilla, not LW2) disables the original ranger class...they call one of their classes "ranger" but it's more like the old LW 'infantry' class.

whether or not you'd think about integrating, or commenting if it's even possible, there's three classes that use a sword. maybe all three? The "shinobi" is the 'recon' class

Into Long War 2 stuff? It's not designed to integrate. If you experiment with load order and .ini files, you might be able to do it, but I guarantee nothing.

I might look into it later, since I've been watching JoInrbs videos on the LW2 classes.

btw, i'm using longwar toolbox...how can i integrate this mod?

wow. an endorsement from BeagleRush no less.

so how does this work? i mean, i understand concealment where you can approach enemies...i even have "peek from concealment" mod. But, how would this work in practice? so you lose concealment at some point and then...depend on this to avoid being targeted?
