Desert Eagle | Extinction

Inspired by sci-fi of the 70's and 80's this weapon finish contains an illustration of a neon polygrid-style t-rex shooting lasers out of it's eyes.
I originally intended the motiv for the AWP, but decided to go with the deagle because I felt that it displayed the illustration better (the dinosaur become a bigger and more important part of the model).
When applying the illustration to the model through a 3d-template, minor distortions were created some places. My first thougth was to clear them out, but I decided to leave them, as it made the design feel kind of like a hologram or projection. You would not notice without investigating the details, but I find it a bit interesting.
