Description
Version: 1.5
Improves Maxwell's Shadows' Brains to make customized decisions.
Configurable!

Lumber Shadow:
Can prevent the Lumber Shadow from chopping young and old trees, to get maximum logs/pine cones/birchnuts, but will help the master chop any trees, if set.

Miner Shadow:
Can prevent the Miner Shadow from mining Glommer statue and Cave/Ruins entrance, or help the master mine anything.

Modified to accommodate for some New Reign additions.

Please make a flag for marble statues. I really love settling near those, but shadows are mining them no matter what

if this is still getting updates then i would love to be able to select chopping tall and medium trees because it is better early game

Not sure if you did but you should modify the Fighter Shadows to have more health, and fight back if attacked. Also it would be nice if the shadows could attack when you click instead of when you hit it.

I found a bug! When harvesting glommer's flower from the statue, the mining shadow seems to register it as "mining", thus mines the statue down. A funny bug which made me so shocked at the moment haha:steamhappy:

Is it op if you buff the fighting shadow? I feel they are a waste of nightmare fuel atm. Btw I subscribed.

James, thanks for the feedback!

I noticed that the shadows were slower than usual in my games, and since you reported it too, I had to check. This mod is just a minor modification of the game's own code, and a part not related to the shadows speed...

So I checked some backups of the game files I had, and this was introduced on a recent update by Klei. I even started a new game to check. I think they slowed down the shadows on purpose, perhaps to balance the characters.

But that prompted me to do some improvements on the code. I will post them soon...

I will see if I can add your requests in a future update. From what I checked, it can be possible, but would require overwriting too much game code, and that could break the mod at each update of the game files.

My original intention with this mod was not to amplify or overpower/speed up the shadows, to keep them at the level Klei wishes, but make them take decisions based on parameters to better suit their masters wishes.
