Version 2.1.16 for Stellaris 3.14.x "Circinus".





Here it is. My very first mod for any game, ever :D

As a Doctor Who fan, I've decided to create this mod, so I can play as or against the fearsome Daleks.



Features:
  • 4 Playable Dalek races (with different portraits for each type of leader):
    • Classic Who Daleks
    • Imperial Daleks
    • Time War Daleks
    • New Dalek Paradigm
  • Custom ship models:
    • Science ship: Modified NewWho Dalek saucer.
    • Transport ship: Shuttle from Remembrance of the Daleks.
    • Colony ship: Void Ship from Army of Ghosts/Doomsday.
    • Corvettes: NewWho Dalek saucer.
  • 1 new species trait.
  • 1 new ruler trait.
  • Custom Dalek name lists (leaders, ships, planets, fleets, armies)
  • 5 pre-scripted Dalek Empires.
  • Custom starter Systems:
    • Skaro System (before Remembrance of the Daleks)
    • Skaro System (after Remembrance of the Daleks)
    • Pherra System
    • Medusa Cascade (with custom Crucible station)
  • Primitive Skaro with fair-haired Thals and dark-haired Kaleds.
  • Dalek Asylum system.
  • Custom city backgrounds.
  • English, Spanish and Russian localisation.



DLC requirements:
You don't need any DLC to use the Dalek portraits, however you do need some DLC's to play some of the prescripted empires:
  • Dalek Empire: Utopia and Apocalypse
  • Reborn Dalek Empire and New Dalek Paradigm: Utopia



Future features:
  • Post-Time-War Skaro relic world, with custom archaeological site.
  • 3D models for the rest of the military ships.
  • More races (Time Lords, Sontarans, Draconians...) (In separate mods)

Possible but improbable future features:
  • Animations for the Dalek ship models (if I can find someone who knows how to properly use Maya...).
  • Animated portraits (the same as above).
  • Custom advisor voice.



Known issues:
  • Nothing right now :D

I've got a few ideas for additions that hopefully shouldn't be too hard to do for the next update:
1) Similarly to the new Whoniverse Galaxy mod, you could have some kind of Dalek paragon character that can be recruitable by other Daleks (I'm personally thinking the Time Controller since he's been thrown around all over the Dalek timeline, but another can work if you'd prefer).
2) Perhaps, similarly to how you've done 2 versions of the Cyber-dominion of Telos, there could be a second version of the New Dalek Paradigm ruled by the Paradigm Emperor instead of the Prime Minister to represent the early phase of the Paradigm?

Hopefully these ideas sound good to you and aren't too hard to implement (I know there's already a lot planned for some point in the future).

This mod is incredible, as someone who loves Doctor who and Grand Strategy games I am glad I found this, and proud to say this modification has given the Great Dalek Empire its chance to rise and Exterminate all non-Dalek life once again. Long have we waited for this ultimate destiny! Now the Daleks are the masters of Stellaris!
