Description

The subject property, the Santa Monica Pier Sign (Sign), is a free-standing arched
neon sign installed at the entrance to the Santa Monica Pier in 1941. The Sign is situated at
the Ocean Avenue and Colorado Boulevard intersection, north of the Santa Monica Pier, and
set-back from Ocean Avenue on the Colorado Avenue Viaduct. The Sign spans the width of
the two-lane vehicular Viaduct.
