If you're like me, you're captivated by Skyrim's decapitations. I mean, don't you just love the irony of separating a bandit's head from his shoulders just moments after he makes the vain threat, "I'll mount your head on my wall"?

Yeah, it still cracks me up to send a foe's head flying! So I made Better Improvements for Gameplay: More Decapitations! to make beheadings happen more, and I'm passing it on to you, because it's too much fun to keep to myself! And hey, it took some effort to earn the decapitation perks. Don't we deserve more of the head-chopping fun we worked so hard for? Need I ask? Hand me my headman's axe!

But if you don't have the Devastating Blow two-handed skill perk or the Savage Strike one-handed skill perk, you no longer have to wait to decapitate! It's probably the easiest mod I've ever made, and maybe one of the most entertaining! The game has a percent chance of beheading set at 40%, so 2 out of 5 kills chops off a head, if you have the decapitating perk required. This mod increases the chance to 60%, so 3 out of 5 kills cuts off a head.

But here's the fun part: If you also subscribe to BIG: More Kill Moves!, you'll get more beaheading kill moves, which send your foes' heads flying in all their gloriously graphic detail! So, what are you waiting for? Click or tap that Subscribe button!



Q. How many more heads will I chop off with BIG: More Decapitations?
A. 50% more. It increases the chance to decapitate from 40% to 60%.

Q. Will I start chopping off more heads right away?
A. Yes, if you have the required perks for the weapon you use.

Q. What perks do I need?
A. The perks of the vanilla game, which let you behead your enemies when you kill them. These are the One Handed perk Savage Strike and the Two Handed perk Devastating Blow.

Q. Can I cut off heads without the perks?
A. No, the game requires them. You'll have to get to level 50 to earn them.

Q. Will I get more decapitating kill moves, too?
A. Yes. If you kill the last man still alive, there is a 50% chance the kill move will play. If the kill move plays, there's now a 60% chance it will be a decapitation. So you have a 30% chance of seeing a kill move that cuts off a head.

Q. Can I increase the chance of seeing a kill move that removes the head?
A. Yes, if you subscribe to BIG: More Kill Moves! It gives you more kill moves by removing the last-man-standing condition. This means every kill you get will have a 30% chance of being a decapitation kill move!

Q. What will happen if I unsubscribe?
A. The chance to decapitate will go back to the lower 40%.

Q. Are there any bugs?
A. Not caused by this mod. It changes only one global variable, which is the percent chance of decapitating.

To make sure this mod loads, after subscribing, launch Skyrim, wait for the launch screen to display a message that all mods finished synchronizing, then exit Skyrim to the desktop. Relaunch Skyrim. The mod should now be loaded.



There are no known bugs. Please report any you think you find. Mods that change the percent chance for decapitations might be incompatible.



There's no need to unsubscribe. After subscribing, you may easily disable the mod at anytime:

1. Start the Skyrim launcher
   
2. Wait for it to display a message that mods finished synchronizing
   
3. Select Data Files
   
4. Remove the checkmark next to this mod
   
5. Select OK and Play
