How to Play Move the Medic!
Let's call the heal target the pocket, and the medic, the medic.

The most important rule: The medic CANNOT move on his own. The medic may move out of the spawn once the gate opens, but should stop immediately after he gets outside, and crouch (the medic cannot stop crouching). The medic can heal anyone on their team, and may engage in combat if they want to, but they can't move while doing so.

The Pocket must move the medic (who will use the quickfix to tie to the pocket's movements) around the map, and try to keep the medic alive. When playing in larger teams, medics may switch pockets freely.

Recommended Configuration

Based upon the information we learned from our gamemode tests, we've come up with this configuration as the best way to play:

1 Medic
1 Dedicated Mover (Pyro)
2 Roamers (Soldier/Demoman, not class specific)

From the couple methods we tested, this one provides for the easiest coordination (given that we don't have any method other than good will to regulate it... for now) and for fun. If you're interested in working with it on an official capacity, we'll be organizing games later this week in our steam group, so please join!

Our config isn't by any means the only way you can play. Just experiment with the game and have fun!

Voice servers help!

Tourneys might come down the road!

Stay tuned for frequent updates!

Tips and Trucks. (Trucks is intentional)
-For an extra challenge, try playing in a closed map like Junction.

- As medic use the amputator when your pocket is out of reach, and you're hurt.

- As pocket you may want move your medic towards cover, and avoid blowing him off the side of the map.

- As pocket you will need to get ammo constantly, since you will expend a lot moving both yourself and your medic.

-Have fun! It's meant to be challenging and silly, so go crazy with it.

-Open maps (particularly Payload) work best for this minigame.

Official Steam Group
We've created a steam group for gamemode meat-ups, and as a place to help us improve this minigamemode. We will also be using it to schedule configuration tests later this week, so please check it out if you're interested in helping us out, or you just want to give MTM a try.

http://steamproxy.net/groups/TFMTM

We've used the group to announce a test configuration for the minigamemode. Anyone interested in participating can join.

It's public, so anyone can join!
