Durnehviir Resurrected

Опис
Bound eternally to the Soul Cairn by a deceptive bargain, Durnehviir's flesh has been forever preserved against the tides of time.



Revel in the full glory of the great dragon at his prime. Tremble as you face his army of endless corpses. Tame the beast, and watch your enemies fall before the necromancer Durnehviir!

With this mod, you will experience Durnehviir as he was created by Akatosh, not the rotting zombie seen in vanilla Dawnguard. His model has been redesigned from scratch, to look exactly like a young and healthy Durny would've.

With several HD texture options, you can choose whichever Durnehviir fits your tastes. Alternate textures can be found on Nexus[www.nexusmods.com] (special thanks to Bellyache for the texture designs!)

Due to popular demand, I've added an optional version that only replaces the summoned Durnehviir -- soul cairn Durny will still be a corpse. Find it on Nexus[www.nexusmods.com].

Worked in October, now it consistently crashes my game on start-up.
Had to play around with 7 other mods until I found the culprit.

I see you have had no updates all this time, so it has to be a change made by Steam.

Same crash when this is the only active mod.
I really like this mod, would you mind looking into it?

Can't start up the game when it's enabled and disabling results in me losing the entire DLC of Dawnguard in a save file. It loads in in the Sleeping Giant inn, even though I'm supposed to be in darkfall passage. There's no Castle Volkihar or Dawnguard on the map. Can anyone help?

is their a durnehviir mod that will allow you to free durnehviir from his curse ? because I will love to see him flying around skyrim and not be trapped in the soul carin .

If you click Manual Download, you won't need to install the mod manager. Just put the files in your Skyrim\Data folder.

my sister tried nexus, but she found it annoying that you had to select it every time and that it downloads to some seprate thing. is there like an easy way?

Thank steam's crappy mod hoster for that. But I mean, it's super easy to go to nexus.

Because there is no way to interpolate between the two. He has to be either all rotten or all healthy. There is a version on nexus that makes him only healthy in Tamriel though.

Why not make a little quest: First he is rotting flesh and the more he got summoned in Tamriel, he will be more fleshy ?

Looks so much better on Durnehviir since his default has a huge hole in his chest. The Speckled Blue also looks like hes been taking baths in Blackreach. :D
