Just start new game and ;) and little time later u can click that "-Try to put myself in their shoes."
There is no camera anymore after u get all7 others ;)

Move with the left and right arrows and shoot with left click. Aim vertically parallel to the ship so you dont move away into a bullet. Try to stay near the middle.

Hmm. You should be able to see the new option when you start a new game. If it bugs try to restart the game or try to do all 7endings without quitting.
