Introduction

The forum mentioned there sould be 14 Hats in total. Thats the hat you start out with and 13 more to find. There are two dark gray hats tat look simmilar but count as two.

Don't worry if you don't find all hats in your first playthrough.
To get them after you played through the game, you may just start the chapter they are in from the menu and collect the hat.

You find this head on the east side of the Church next to a coffin. Instead of entering the Church just walr past it on the right side.

Chapter 13

This hat is in a narrow ally between the stables and the tavern. You can only enter it on the right.

Chapter 18

This one is tricky. It is hidden under a bedroll next to the wagons right infront of the fort's doors.

Chapter 21

Easy to spot next to the outhouse in the east.

Chapter 24

When following the rail road behind some rocks to the left on a right turn of the tracks.

When leaving the first building in this level (the upper one) head downwards. Hat is next to the well on the courtyard.

The hat can be found in the bar in the upper right end of the map. Ther is a quest marker there and the bartende may send you on your way to the next mission if you walk to close to him. So enter on the far left on the building from the south and walk right into the coridor to the sleeping rooms.

Chapter 11

As mentioned above this one looks fimilar but counts as a different hat. Right at the beginning of the level walk a little to the left and then up on the end of the fence toward the outhouse. Hat is behind on the up most fence part.

On the top right corner of the map find the chinese miner hat next to a corner in the fence. Its right of the train wagon.

This is the level where you start of with a shovel. *yay* Walk up when kill the first dog right after the dialog. Pass the two wagons on the right side and head upwards. There is two cowboys asleep in a circular pit of rock. If you pass them to the right there is a brick wall and some boxes. Behind the boxes there is your farmer's hat!

Chapter 6

Easy to miss that one. When you are back in town in chapter 6, the place you can do the perk shopping, enter the building north of where you start. It is only accessible from the far right. The Ladie's hat is on the floor there.

Chapter 14

Easy to spot. In the beginning of the chapter next to the house where the dialoge takes you is your sherriff's hat.

Chapter 20

Last hat of the game: Right in the beginning of this level, first bulding on the right. There is some indians in there and the hat lies on the south end on the floor.

If you pick up the last hat, and you don't get the achievement, exit the game and load it back up. Click continue, then get the last hat again. It should give you the achievement.

hat stuff is kinda buggy, especially when starting a new playthrough, i accidentally loaded a higher episode from my previous playthrough and now my list of hats is messed up, sigh.

I ended up just picking up the same hat from Act 1 Episode 8 until I got the achievement.

thank you very much mister. i decided to play this game again because of the lord of the hats achievement left locked when i made my first playthrough. halfway through, i needed to close the game only to see my progress got bugged and i couldnt access all the hats i unlocked through the story. I collected all the hats legitimately yet the game didnt gave me the achievement so i used your way and i must say its good to have workarounds for some buggy yet good old games >:D
